Great place and good happy hours

It was ok… menu was rather limited. Beer selection was good. They won’t let dogs sit on the patio???

Burgers were huge and tasty. I also had the fried jalapeño slices, and they were great. They added some black pepper, which was a nice bonus. Friendly staff, and I never had to track her down for another beer.

Our new favorite place! We absolutely love the burgers (which is a lot seeing that I’m not a burger person) and the beer is great! We will certainly be back to see some football this fall

Great casual place to relax. Pool tables, darts, and video games. They have pool tournaments and poker nights if you like. Food is great. Maverick salad is the bomb… No heels needed.

I remember coming to this place some time back when it was The Arena Bar & Grill and had a good time with a bunch of friends. It wasn’t until recently that I found out it changed names so met up with a couple of friends to try it out.
To be honest, nothing has really changed, from what I can tell, either better or worse.
When I got there I was greeted by my friends in Grand Theft Radio, I had no idea they were playing that evening so that was a bonus.
Anyway, once inside we made our way to a table and were greeted with a smile by Rachael who would be looking after us and keeping the drinks flowing, and she did a great job.
Since I was hungry, I ordered the quesadilla and one of my friends ordered some sort of burger. Not sure what his was like but my quesadilla was pretty tasty and well stuffed. I was definitely satisfied.
Their beer list isn’t too bad, but had a better than average choice of bottles, I think.
There was some wild birthday party going on which always makes for entertaining people watching.
Overall, nice neighborhood bar feeling, great service and great food. I’ll be back to try some other menu items and try some of the bottled beer selection.

We’ve been to Maverick a few times for lunch. Great salads and burgers. Good menu options. Last night we went to listen to music. Surprised to see top rated band Random Access in the house! Drink service was prompt. People had a great time dancing! People watching was good too!

Took over 20 minutes before a waitress came to take our order, and there was only about 10 people sitting already eating. She spent forever just sitting and talking to people about random BS. Food was ok but overall very poor service. This place is perfect if you want to come sit down and stare at people and wait forever for your food.

New spot in Carrolton/​Lewisville area. Their tables still reek of fresh paint. Place is an open concept. It has the feel of typical suburban bar. Nothing too crazy.
As you enter, you’ll see their bar area straight ahead and by the entrance to your right is the stage area. Décor is pretty neat if you like Texas. All flags hanging are only Texas teams, from college to professionals. The paint color on the wall is all about Texas as well. I didn’t get a chance to look at the menu to see what they have. I might have to come back for that. The place is lively maybe because of the band and their following. Service is very prompt. I saw 2 ladies waiting tables, 2 bartenders, 1 doorman/​bus boy (he was hustling empty glasses in between checking ID’s lol (that’s how open the place is) All in all, I had a good time and like I said I would comeback for their food.
