Came back this year and had the Sunday dinner buffet with tea for $ 17. Excellent food and service. Roast beef was delicious, potatoes had lots of flavor. Had veggie omelet this morning– $ 10 with coffee. Veggies were so fresh and yummy! Thanks, Two Rivers!

The food here is really good. There is nothing bad here. Service has always been good and the view is good. I recommend you take the 45 minute drive from Louisville and enjoy some of Kentucky’s treasures.

The views here are lovely, but the food is nothing to write home about. I had the hot brown. I always enjoy when they put ham in a hot brown, but I wish the hot brown was hot. It was warm. Also they put ham on one side and turkey on the other. I wish it would’ve been spread out. The fries were terrible. There was no buffet today. Service was fine.

Let’s start with the service, the service was great the staff was very friendly and they wouldn’t let you run out of anything. To bad you could not say the same for the food. It is not that the food tasted hirable, it was just void of any seasoning of any kind. We have eaten here before and it was pretty good this time it was at best bland.

Food was fine, wait was much. Staff was doing the best it could but it was Mothers day Sunday and they did not seem to have the right amount of staff or room for the amount of people. Clean place but at the end of the day I’m not one that would come back. But that might be me view on Buffets

The only reason I’m giving this place two stars is because the service was very good. The food, however, was just barely edible. I had the breakfast buffet, the usual selections were available; eggs, bacon, sausage, grits, oatmeal, home fries, French toast sticks, fruit, muffins, and biscuits and gravy. For a place that says they serve«signature Kentucky favorites» one would think that they would at least get biscuits and gravy right. The biscuits were cold, and the gravy tasted straight out of a mix; there was no sausage at all in the gravy, that was separate on the buffet. The sausage itself was overcooked, and pretty much zero flavor. That was the theme for the whole buffet; devoid of flavor, over or undercooked, and cold. Oatmeal grey and lumpy, grits had no taste. The fruit was straight out of a can, and muffins out of a box. And most disturbing of all, the bacon was cold, limp, and soggy. Being this was the first time I had eaten there, I was very hesitant to write such a negative review. But coupled with the lackluster room in the lodge itself, I felt I had to.
