It’s free, so you can’t really say much bad about it. I come here for the outdoor futsal court. I was using a tennis court before but now she can conclude her drills with shots. She occasionally gets in pickup games with grown-ass men. They actually foul less than 10-year old girls. Anyways, I’ve started taking my son to the splash park so he can frolic while my DD trains. I love efficiency! He enjoys the park so much that we went yesterday despite his sister not training. There were no open parking spots, but there were two palateros, a bounce house, and a roll of toilet paper in the bathroom. I have never seen any police or activity requiring police. There’s a few adults enjoying a cold beverage on the down-low, as it should be. Nothing too crazy.

In a nut shell: Where else can you go on a hot summer day after work/school and splash around in a water feature for free? Only drawback is that if you want to have a party here, it’s first come, first serve, no reservations. This is a great park. So many of Carrollton’s parks are under appreciated. So many are fantastic and this one will not disappoint. Located across the street from ball parks and behind the Carrollton senior center, you would miss it if you didn’t know it was there. It is on the Green trail and has many picnic table and grills. Some are even covered. There is a regular playground area about 30 feet from the splash park. Planning a birthday party there this summer. Only bummer is no way to reserve space, so be on your A game if you want to do an event there. There are many parks/places you can reserve in Carrollton,(IE:The water park at the Rosemeade Comunity center) which might be a viable option for summer parties as well. It’s definitely worth a drive by.

My 3 year old loved this park. It is small enough for kids her age and big enough for older kids to have fun while staying cool. There’s tables and benches for parents, most are covered. My GPS was wrong when trying to find the park but I eventually found it. Crossed the tracks and kept going into the neighborhood before I found it.

Good family fun! You can either go on the jog trail that starts behind Josey Ranch Library to get here or just drive on up!!! The splash park has a clean bathroom and lots of grills and picnic areas. Very clean and family friendly. Plenty of Ice ream guys walking thru the park selling treats. I highly recommend coming here for a relaxed fun filled stress free day. Also plenty of covered areas to sit and plenty of benches
