Wine Maker’s Toy Store Homebrew Dallas

Damn good selection of grains/​yeast/​hops for a home beer brewer. They also appear to have all that is needed for wine making. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, and prices are about the same as you would find online.
Definitely check the hours online or by phone, they close early and have reduced hours on weekends.

Had a great time visiting Dallas Home Brew mixed in with the Wine Maker’s Toy store today. It’s like a big kids candi store. As I steer more towards home beer brewing I was hoping to find liquid yeast to transport in Texas without it being exposed to heat. Check. They have all of the top Wyeast and White Labs. Great selection of beer kits, I picked up a few to brew five gallons of German Wheat and 5 gallons of Belgian Dark.
The people that work here are outstanding professionals. When I checked out, not only did they honor the killer $ 10 off a $ 25 purchase for a Unilocal check in!!! YES! They also made sure that I knew the kits contained dry yeast (which I did know) so they were not trying to sell me something I didn’t need. They earned my trust and I will be a repeat customer.
While they have a great selection of Belgian sugars, none have prices on them or I might have bought some of those.
It seems that this store is primarily for home wine makers, but when I was there I saw a home beer brewer pick up 50 pounds of grains. The home beer brewing selection does indeed have everything the home brewer needs.
Awesome store. And just love that $ 10 Unilocal check-​in discount for a $ 25 purchase. I think that’s the best Unilocal check in offer I’ve ever seen, and it did make me decide to fight Dallas traffic for 18 miles to go here instead of the other beer home brew place.
Plus they gave me a 10% discount as a first time in store customer and will allow me to apply it to mail /​online orders in the future… Yeah, they got me. ;) Happy new customer and I will visit and or order again for sure. Nice friendly staff. AAA+++

Be aware of limited hours– this location is only open until 6pm each evening…
Besides that, this is a one stop shop from any possible needs starting at bottles and must, to acids and carbonating systems. Fair prices and knowledgeable staff!
