Carson City Community Center

Went to a play here. The seating is abysmal unless you’re a munchkin.

I am a arts lover, especially plays and musicals. My daughter turned us on to the Western Nevada Musical Theatre Company. They hold there performances at the carson city community center. They usually put on two shows a year, one in the spring and one in the fall. The past couple years we have seen, LesMiserables, My fair lady, Phantom of the opera, and many more. This year they put on The Music Man this spring. A wonderful production with beautiful sets and tremendous singiand acting. These performances are very affordable. The seating is very comfortable and the sound system is state of the art. I am proud to have such a talented group right in our back yard. In november they are putting on Mary Poppins. I highly recommend seeing a play or musical here, you will not be disappointed.

Encore Dance was held here and the dancers were great. couldnt say much for people getting up in front of me constantly while dancers were performing. common show a bit of respect!
