This place sucks! I went in for a pedicure and it was absolutely the worst pedicure I have ever gotten. I was there for about 40 min and they probably worked a total on my feet for about 15 min. It was constant interruptions worrying about the walk-ins. I will never go back to this place again.

i’ve never had a bad experience at get nailed, which is why i keep coming back here after branching out and trying other nail salons. the ladies are friendly and welcoming. i don’t go to the salon regularly, and usually it’s months between my visits, but they alway remember me and what was going on in my life when they last saw me. it makes a big difference to me knowing that they care about me as a customer enough to remember things about my life, like how old my son is, or where i work, or my hobbies. it makes the experience at their salon more like visiting a friend rather than being just a customer. their pricing is standard, but i’ve received«extras» from them like decorations on my pedi at no extra charge. these ladies are hard workers who make every effort to accommodate everyone who walks in their salon, whether you have an appointment or not. i’m always satisfied doing business with them.

I loved my experience at Get Nailed! The ladies who helped us fit in our appointment right when we wanted it, they were very friendly, and it was a great little salon. The massage chairs were great. The whole experience was very comfortable!

I’ll not go back! We made an appointment for mani pedis. When we arrived they acted inconvenienced. Our pedis were rushed. The manicures, we’re not manicures, only polish! Our toes were a mess and so were our cuticles that were painted over. Manis took 10 minutes tops. What a mess, they were not friendly bordering rude and my grand daughter left crying. Repeat I will never go back!!!

Good place for gel manicures but would have loved it if my polish didn’t crack after only a few days, would also love more of a selection. Fast service though!

Decided not to go back here. They had a electric nail dryer plug in and above the water on the spa chairs. Continued to do it after I told them they could kill someone. The pedicure is posted for 25 bucks but they charge 35 with no explanation. They are nice people but bad operators.

Went here to get my nails done for prom and left crying. The younger girl did my nails and not only left her finger print on two nails but missed half of nail! She also forgot to put on a top coat on and all of this was happening on a critical covered paper towel from the girl before me. My mom(who decided go get a pedicure) left with her toes smudged because the lady put the flipflop on wrong. If you want to have nice looking nails and be happy with the process DON’T GOHERE! I ended up just going to the nail place in Walmart and they did a zillion times better.

This is the worst nail job I have ever had!!! The lady that did my nails has been doing nails for 30 years. I dont get it! I will never go there again. Rude and horrible job. I wasted my time and money and should have stayed with my normal nail salon. I will wait next time they are booked. My nails started falling off after two days, they are not even, the red tips are all different shapes and sizes and bubbles in all of them. Horrible waste of time!

I moved to Gardnerville after living in Carson City for many years. I still go to Diana at Get Nailed. She is amazing and very creative(I think she may own the place). They are punctual with their appointments and usually accept walk-ins. Very sweet and a great atmosphere.

Oh, man my fingers hurt. I scheduled an appointment for some french tips awhile back, and I’m just now revisiting my experience here. The ladies were super friendly, and the woman that did my nails was the youngest there, and very nice. Regardless, when I was done and hour and ten minutes later, my cuticles were in sore-bleed land. This was the first account I’ve ever had with a manicure and acrylic nails where my fingers were so sore. Sure, I understand that your fingers will take a beating after all the filing, and the chemicals. But it’s never a good thing were 7 out of my 10 cuticles on my fingers had been cut up enough to bleed. Maybe I have delicate little digits. I don’t know. I wasn’t angry, more so suprised. I can’t give them a horrible rating, because they were horribly nice people.

i can honestly say this is the worst set of acrylic nails I have ever gotten and I did get them with the younger girl. their idea of pink and whites stink and the nails GLOWBLUE in the sun. Needless to say, I have learned to not cheat on my nail lady every again.

I think these women did a great job! Not only did Diana and Kim come in on Sunday for us, but they did so at the last second and our toes look awesome! We were in Carson City to run a half marathon which ended up being the day before — so we came from SLT to Carson City at 6 am for no reason. After breakfast, I googled«nail salon» on my phone and this was the first one to come up. When I called, I guess the number was a cell phone because the women agreed to come in on Sunday even though they were closed for an appointment. We left happy and with beautiful toes — what more can a girl ask for?! And the pedis are $ 25 — as they should be! None of this $ 45 business like up at the lake. Ridiculous.

Worst mani-pedi EVER! I was in town for a casual wedding, and decided I needed to get pretty-fied. I don’t get my nails done regularly so sometimes working on me can be a bit of a chore. However… Three hours after getting the pedicure, I switched from my flip-flops to mary janes. The polish on my toes smeared!!! It just slid right off. So then I looked at my finger nails, and the polish was still smearable, and it had bubbled up on each finger. Unfortunately I didn’t notice all of this until after closing, and I had the wedding in Tahoe the next morning. Then the day after, I realized that my cuticle beds were still a mess, and I ended up with some of the worst hangnails ever.
