Merle Norman Cosmetic Studio

I’m not really sure how to rate this store. Jean W. Is a great consultant. She found me the perfect foundation shade and a wonderful new blusher, and she recommended some great products without pressuring me to buy any. Additionally, this is the only Merle Norman within hundreds of miles, so it’s not like you have a choice, unless you want to order by phone from Palm Desert, CA, which incidentally is a great shop.
To avoid disappointment, I strongly recommend you do the following before coming here: First, if there is a product you must have, call first. The shop is very busy, and they run out of things. Second, the advertised hours seem to be notional. Always call before leaving home to make sure they are open and to ask when they are closing. Third, if you arrive at a time they said they would be open but the door is locked, jiggle jiggle jiggle the door until someone comes out. Seriously.
Oh, and if you haven’t tried Merle Norman makeup and skincare products, you really should. They are awesome, as Makeup Alley reviews attest.
