This bar is just plain swell. If your looking to get absolutely plastered and find someone sweet to take home, this is your place. The lively and always friendly staff is just plain perfection.

Good bang for your buck, but ALWAYS smokey and full of Reds 395 staff getting wasted.
Hope you don’t have Pattie as a bartender, very, very, rude.
They need to bring some YOUNG bartenders in and let the old ones retire!!!

This is such a great little dive bar! My husband and I were staying at the motel across the street and drove by the Timbers shortly after we checked in. We love to check out dives, and this place did not dissappoint! As soon as we opened the door we could tell that this wasn’t a place tourists typically hung out in as all conversations ceased and everyone was looking our way. We settled in and ordered some beers. They have a suprisingly good selection of bottled beers, but the ones on tap are your typical American lagers.
They take only cash and the bartenders are super friendly. It seemed that they knew every patron in there very well. As I said before, this place is probably not one that many tourists frequent, so we were asked by some other patrons where we were from and had some pleasant conversation. We discussed why we were in town (my Dad was playing a gig at the casino across the street) and a few of the people we met even ended up showing up! We left feeling like we would definitely want to go back!
Overall, this is a great, friendly little place, despite the outside appearance. I knocked a star off because of how smoky it was inside, but that is Nevada for ya!

This divey dive only takes cash but they do have an ATM on site so they are more than prepared to take your cash… although it won’t be much that they’re taking because it’s so inexpensive. My wife and I came here because we love dives and the really mellow atmosphere that they offer and this was no different. The bartenders were nice ladies and the crowd was definitely regulars. I’m pretty sure most locals and visitors wouldn’t come to this kind of place merely because there are so many other options for drinking. The only reason I give I didn’t care for this place is the fact that you will walk away stinking like smoke something fierce. But that’s just Nevada.

What a dive bar indeed but sometimes that is exactly what you are looking for, I loved the place. Its a very small place with cheap drinks, friendly staff, and I felt right at home among all the local patrons. Best of all was the 2 dogs that seem to be bar regulars themselves hanging out inside with everyone.
