Carson Lock & Safe

Not the best experience.
Called ahead to drop off lock to be fixed, was told to bring it down as they were open. Arrived 5mins later. Closed sign in the window. Disappointing.

Rude, rude, rude! Whomever was working on Tuesday, Jan 6 2014 needs to develop some customer service skills. Gets off the phone on what was obviously a personal phone call, grabs my camlock, takes it to his back shelf and asks my name. No price, no est time of completion. I ask when it’ll be done. «I have a lot of work to do and I can’t do it right now.» Can I pick it up today? «I don’t t know, I’ll call you.» When I call just before closing «I had a lot of work today, it’s not done.» I was considering whether to pick it up and take it elsewhere so I asked him if it had a code. (Another locksmith I’d just called said they could do it immediately if it had a code on it.) He replies immediately, there’s no code on it. At this point he says «I’ll get it done tomorrow.» First time he has given me an estimate! I have gone here for years when different people worked there and used to have good experiences. Not with this guy! Ill go to the other locksmith next time.

Great same day service at reasonable prices! Phone staff was very accommodating. They even called when technician was dispatched. Tech who helped was friendly and met the time frame specified. Would use this service again with no hesitation!

Very good service i had a problem programming my Honda Accord key which has a chip in it and called around and other locksmiths wanted to much money but the locksmiths here were fast, nice. He programmed it and works great.

Outstanding service! They were quick with their service and the man helping me was very friendly.
I also called around to compare prices and they were at least $ 5 cheaper.
They have a branch near where I live (in Carson), but they also have one in San Pedro. It seems the San Pedro branch is their main branch because the calls were answered in the San Pedro office. Regardless, great establishment!
