It was a nice and sunny day. The park looked clean and the playground was clean. ldots of tall trees and shade… if you have allergies the cotton trees might be a problem during the spring season but otherwise my kid enjoyed herself and so did i

The staff here is great ! At this park everyone knows everyone. And most of the older kids you see hanging out are the exact same ones that grew up playing sports at the park. It’s a family here !

This park is pretty awesome. My review is for the aquatic center. I would give it 5 stars if the pool stayed open longer(1:15 to 2:45! M-F, 1 – 2:30 Saturday). Wish they had more lounge chairs. I took the last available chair. There were like 12 in total? But, we’ll definitely be back because it’s cheap($ 1.50 for Carson residents, $ 3 for nonresidents). My 5 year old daughter and nephew loved it! My 12 year old would have liked it better if he brought a friend. There are 3 water slides, a kiddie pool and a large regular pool. There are separate male/female shower rooms. You can put your belongings in a mesh bag and ask the staff to put away. The lounge chairs are covered by a big nice fabric shade. And the facility is clean, staff is nice, good amount off free parking. If you live in or near Carson and have small kids, this is a great place to visit during the summer!

When I first found out that my nephew was having his birthday party here, I had some reservations about it. In past years, my nephews have had their parties in parks of Signal Hill and Lakewood but I would have never guessed Dominguez Park. I wasn’t quite sure about this area but turns out it wasn’t bad at all. It appears the playground area has been renovated as everything was in good condition. Although most of the playground surface has been replaced with that spongy material, there are still patches of sand that kids can play in. There are designated play areas for 2 – 5 years of age and 5 – 12 years. There’s also an aquatic center that looks pretty neat. It houses two outdoor pools; one being a kiddie pool, the other with waterslides. A number of shaded areas can be found alongside. Bounce houses are permitted in this park, dogs are not. In addition, Dominguez Park offers the following amenities: Basketball Courts Barbeque Grills Picnic Tables Multi-Purpose Building Restrooms I bought a battery operated bubble maker for my nephew from a guy who was walking around selling such toys there. Unfortunately, he was also selling silly string. The kids seemed to have made a mess of it on the playground floor and it just didn’t look pretty. I was leaving at that time but I wouldn’t have liked to arrive at the sight of that.
