I came here last minute before closing time. They actually had a private party and was about to turn us away, but since we just wanted it to go we were able to place out order. The lomo saltado wasn’t as tasty as I thought but everything else good. We also got the papa rellena, which kinda reminds me of the potato balls from Portos, but on steroids. My favoriite entrée was the one that my brother got, it had the most flavor, chaufa do pollo. It’s basically chicken fried rice. I would love to come back to try their other stuff.

Food is good. Comparable to Pollo Imperial in North Long Beach. I had the lunch special for $ 8. Includes soup and rolls. I had the Vainita de Pollo. I liked the food and I will definitely be coming back.

Food was great. Best thing besides the food was the service and the fact that it’s a family business. First time here after children’s haircut and I was very happy.

Food was ok. On the expensive side. Service was horrible on a friday lunch time when everyone is looking to finish lunch in an hour. Could be improved.

Looking for something new close to work and came across El Pollo Peruano. Consulted with the co-workers and placed our order via Unilocal at 11:30am. Two Saltado de Pollos and one Lomo Saltado to be ready at 12:10pm. We only have a half hour lunch so I quickly made the 8 minute drive and arrived to pick up our food at 12:15. Walked in and there was a couple in front of us placing and order. After they ordered and paid I notified the lady at the counter that we were hear to pick up the order we placed on Unilocal. She yelled back to other worker do not go outside yet the Unilocal order is here. She then said give me 5 more minutes and then she walked out of the restaurant. We sat down and the waiting game began. The couple in front of us left with their order, an employee took several large orders outside. New customers came in ordered and received their food and walked out and we were still waiting. Walked up to check if our food was on the counter yet and we asked by one of the employees, «Can I help you?».At this time it is already 12:40 pm. We said we have been waiting for our Unilocal order. The guy said give me 2 minutes and pulled our ticket from the cue and began cooking our food. After wasting our 30 minute lunch plus any additional breaks at this place the Saltado de Pollo was ok. The potatoes were a bit soggy and the rice has this stage mash potato consistency at the top. The best part of our lunch was the green chicken soup. The food was not bad but the service definitely left a bad taste in our mouth.

This is a NEW restaurant. All reviews older than 6 months are for the previous owner who also had a rotisserie chicken restaurant but was Mexican. This is PERUVIAN. New owner, new restaurant, new food. We love it here! Food is delicious! Lunch specials from 10−3pm are only $ 8, well portioned and great choices to pick from! It’s a modest little place owned by the sweetest woman named Yvette! Go! You won’t be sorry! Our favorites are the lomo saltado and saltado de mariscos… so YUMMY! Try it for yourself!

Tried it for the first time and really glad to find a place close to home. The place might not be all fancy dancy but never judge a book by its cover. Try the pollo Saltado. Not that expensive like other places but it’s worth it.

The chicken is just amazing. The chicken is very very moist with tons of flavor. Truly low prices too compared to other local areas with 3 miles. Literally the CHICKEN is the best thing about this place. If you love grilled chicken you will love this.

Has tables to eat there, but not somewhere to take a date. I tried the chicken Salgado and platanos(fried plantains). Both were great. I will go back.

Amazing food so happy to have found a Peruvian restaurant so close to home. This restaurant is pretty similar to Pollo Inka. They start you off with soup and bread and then comes your tasty meal. They have a $ 8 lunch special on selected meals. And there dinner prices are reasonable. I highly recommend you check out this restaurant if your in the south bay area.

Hands down AMAZING food! The owners are new and they are making really good Peruvian food. It is now called«El Pollo Peruano», and it tastes exactly like El Pollo Inca(and I love El Pollo Inca). It’s actually really affordable for good food which they even include the delicious green soup! $ 40 for 3 entrees, 3 soups, and 3 sodas! That comes out to about $ 13 a person! Can’t beat that! Will be coming back!

Great Find! I believe they changed the name it’s called«El pollo Peruano» I would always pass by & I finally decided to give it a try & I’m glad I did. The food here is delicious & great customer service. If it’s your first time I recommend the chicken & also the fried plantains.

This place is a hidden gem. It’s a real find I enjoy whenever I crave a grilled chicken quesadilla combo, which includes rice, beans, guacamole, and sour cream. And since it’s a few blocks away, I can easily walk there and pick up or dine in. Great food at a fair price.

With a name like«Increible» you better come forth with some food that lives up to the name. I ordered some chicken tacos and I must tell you that, perhaps I didn’t order what they are traditionally known for — so my review could be misleading. However, I will say that from the many other options around town — I was less than impressed. The chicken wasn’t so bad, it was the tortillas. Which leads me to ask, how does one mess up such a simple thing like chicken tacos? They were small, not too much meat or onions etc. Not only that, but the tortillas were dry and tasted cheap. I can’t stand when places cut corners on such simple food items. I was hungry, and didn’t want to order a whole chicken or spend a bunch of money just for a small bite. Afterwards, I wished that I wasn’t so lazy to drive over to the carniceria down the street for the real tacos that you know aren’t going to leave you with that skeptical feeling of wanting to come back. The people were nice enough, but the place looks run down. Most likely, another example of them cutting corners and not keeping the place clean and attractive looking. One and done.

Chicken has good flavor but the salsa needs some work. Refined beans are good rice is just rice. 14 $ for a whole chicken and rice and beans with some funky salsa. But the chicken was good. and it was priced right. So I give almost a 4 star.
