went in today, to first ask questions regarding flexibility on dates, penalty charges, online vs travel agent, and so on.
Spoke with a woman named Cynthia. At first greeting, she’s very welcoming, kind, smart and very helpful. She answered all of our questions. She was so knowledgeable, that we immediately booked on the spot.
Booking with Cynthia at this in-​person Mango Tours office, cost roughly about $ 50 more, than booking online at
…BUT booking in-​person with Cynthia, you get to ask all the questions and voice all your concerns. After finalizing, you’ll receive your e-​ticket right away. The terminal fee is included in your final payment too.
Our situation is a bit complicated. We booked and purchased a e-​ticket, with the confidence Cynthia gave us. We booked an e-​ticket for Sunday, with an appointment to expedite a passport early Thursday morning. Cynthia explained that a simple itinerary without an actual booking, will not guarantee the expedite. So we made the purchase, to prove that the passport is needed immediately. Cynthia gathered everything and clip’d it all together, so we’d be ready for Thursday.
So customer service here is excellent, in the regards that she was welcoming and answered all our concerns.
On the down side, Cynthia was the only travel agent there. When we arrived, she was in the middle of helping a couple and there was another customer ahead of us. I think we waited about 30 or so minutes, before she could help us.
You can call and ask questions, and before we went in-​person, we called and she answered immediately.
After we receive the expedited passport and arrive in the Philippines, I’ll re-​vise this review, to further tell you if her advice was good or not. Till then, ask as many questions as you can, before purchasing. Purchase and travel with caution! Take care
