Lily is awesome she did a fantastic job with my hair today, & knew exactly what I wanted. Definitely getting my hair done with her next time.

Lily did such a wonderful job with my hair! She took my blonde streaked hair to match exactly the photo I showed her (chocolate brown balayage). She’s a wonderful person and so fun to talk to as well. She definitely took care of me very well and I trust only her with my hair from now on!

Lily did an amazing job! I asked her to do what I wanted and she made it happen. She even trimmed the ends a little because my ends were so dead for no extra charge as a birthday present. They also bought me food when I told them I was hungry. Everyone was so nice. I’ll be coming back in a few months for a touch up. :)

Really happy with the work Lily did to my hair! Not only did she listen to what I wanted, she also made it happen. And by no means am I someone that talks «hair» but she understood exactly what I needed done. I highly recommend seeing her. She was very attentive and personable. I felt like I’ve been going to her for years. Claire was also great! Both some very sweet ladies that made sure you were comfortable from the moment you’re seated to when you leave.
And for the salon, just wow! Lily mentioned they just remodeled few weeks ago. From the older Unilocal photos of this place goes to show that they have come a long way. It has a very home-​y touch to it from chandeliers to huge mirrors. There was even a dining table in the middle of it all. Mentioned to lily that I was gonna grab a coffee next door but she immediately said «save your money, there’s a keurig and help yourself» which I appreciated. I was lucky to have an appointment during their soft opening because there was food and WINE made by lily. So I was occupied in between washes.
If you’re a new customer like me, you might have some trouble finding the salon. On Unilocal and on the sign it says «Salon S. i» but they’ve changed the name to «salon IIIX».
But long story short … I was a happy customer and will definitely come back!

I took my 4 year old for a haircut one night. I showed her a photo of what I wanted for my kid, which wasn’t anything crazy, just a trimmed version of his current hair. This lady cut his hair waaaaay short, NOTHING like the photo I showed her, its like she hates long bangs. I think the lady’s name is Van? She wasn’t very nice either. This was my first time here and I don’t think I’ll be recommending any business here in the future. My mom had her haircut here too and told me the same thing. She told them what she wanted and they did something else entirely. This place does not respect what the customer asks for. That or they’re just not capable.

I was recommended to go to Van for haircuts. She has cut my hair twice now. It’s decent. I haven’t found another location that I want to test out yet at a decent price for haircuts, but once I find another hairstylist, I’ll probably go there instead.
The reason being is not the fact that Van isn’t a good hair dresser, it’s the fact that she clearly cares about the money. I get that it can be upsetting when your clients don’t know exactly what you want, but you’re there to help them if they need it cause they’re trusting you with their hair. However, she seems to never really care. She just cuts. If you aren’t sure with what you want, rather than help you, she gets irritated. You can tell by the tone of her voice and her facial expressions.
The first time I cut my hair with her it was nice. The second time I’m not too happy. It’s pretty choppy. She didn’t take the time to trim it out and make it nice and soft looking, she just cut off the amount, eye balled to see if it was even and was done.
I’ve never gotten my hair dyed by her, but after watching her dye a girl’s hair, I would never go to her. After dying her hair blonde, she started blow drying and combing. That girl’s hair was breaking like no other! No thanks! You’ve got me scared.

This place is great. I went to the original location on avalon and 220^th to do my nails but I’ve never done my hair before and everyone recommended this place. I’m going to many public events in the next few weeks where everything would be washed out from the lights so I wanted to keep a darker color with subtle ombré. Miss Annie was the best and put a lot of time into the details. It came out the way I imagined. Would come back here again

Annie just did my hair today and I love it so much! She always does a great job and I can ALWAYS rely on her. Definitely get your hair done here! They really listen to what you want and they do so great executing it!

Van did a Fab Job doing my Hair! I am one pleased customer! She has been doing my hair since 2013 and she is my go to hair stylist!!!
The only thing i have to say is that the AC was not on and it was a hot day.

Had a Brazilian blow out with Eddie, he did an amazing job and I love how my hair looks and feels. He was so attentive and talked me through the whole process and explained his credentials. He was friendly and I enjoyed the overall long process.
I would highly recommend this place along with the owner Kevin’s other establishments (Hands and Feel Nail Salon & Salon Image) I’ve had the pleasure of getting services from both he and his wife and they’re both lovely people. I won’t allow anyone else to touch my hair and in Carson this is a hidden gem, you wouldn’t expect such excellent service in Carson!

Came in with no expectation. But omggg Ms. Annie was beast mode!!! What a talented lady!!! She styled and colored my hair how I wanted. Badass!!! Love love love my Grey hair!!! If I wasn’t married I would marry her!!! Go for Annie. Amazing, amazinggg!

I am the pickiest person ever. I am blunt if I don’t like a service and I have a very high standard for stylist.
Meet Alice. By far the best colorist ever. I have gotten by color in London, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica and by far the best. I had a golden brown with red undertone. I wanted an ashy blonde color and she got me there.
Alice is very professional and humble.
In addition, Ann helped her with my cut since it was late (they took me in no appt 6pm Friday!) and her dry cutting technique is good.

First off, request Annie! She’s a sweetheart and gives killer shampoo massages. I was apprehensive of this place because I have very think, curly hair. Most people tend to cut it too short or layer it too thick. Annie does it right each time. Long layers, V shape, styled perfectly. I typically go in for a hair cut, and keratin treatment. I always leave with shiny, smooth, manageable hair for an inexpensive price. I don’t live in the same city, but Annie’s consistency always Brings me back! Will forever be a regular here.
Note: for your apple products, they have a charging station if needed! Score!

Enter a clean, sterile, and modern salon. iPads while you wait and magazines for your gossips. For $ 12 dollars I received a shampoo hair wash before and after my cut. I was greeted by a really cute Vietnamese girl whom also cut my hair. She asked what I wanted and she delivered efficiently and quickly without losing quality. My girlfriend really liked the haircut and complimented how well the Salonist washed my hair to get rid of all the loose hairs. I didn’t have to shower or shake my hair after. I definitely will come back again!

I came here through a recommendation. I know two people that got their hair done by Van and they both had nice hair. After hearing what the price was, I had to go. When I got there, they were an hour behind. That was an annoying start but hey, I know things happen. It’s a nice salon so plenty of places to sit, a large tv to watch, courtesy iPads to fiddle on and free Wifi. This place was non-​stop the 4 hours I was there! Hour wait and 3 hours for a cut and hombre. It was totally worth the time. Van is great and I will make the trek to get my hair done here again. I showed her a pic of what I wanted and she replicated it.

Van is my new go-​to hairdresser!!! She is super cute and gave me the exact cut I asked for. I showed her a picture I saved on Pinterest and she said «ok» and immediately went to work.
When I said to cut 2 inches off the bottom, that’s exactly what she cut. For us long-​haired girls, it can be scary asking for a cut or trim and risk the hairdresser chopping off our luscious locks… but not with Van!
Will be booking my next appt with her for a color next time

Been going to this salon for the past 2 years. I don’t usually write reviews but thought after this one it’s about high time that I do.
I usually get an auburn/​burgandy color, then after a while it lightens to a brownish shade and I have to recolor it. my stylist Van always knows what color is good, just tell her the color you are looking for and she can do it. my cut and color (long hair) runs around $ 115, with high lights around $ 140.
They have ipads on the counter while you wait. the place is clean and stylish. the staff is very accommodating and friendly! If you’ve been with them for a while it’s like talking with an old friend. love them!
If you’re running late for your appointment they still take you, and if they go over your time it’s probably because they’re perfecting their work. if it were you I’m sure you wouldn’t want them to do a subpar job. as with any hair appointment be prepared to wait a bit. not everyone can fit into the 30min-​1hr mark. depends on what you want done.
All in all, fantastic place! Wouldn’t go anywhere else! :)
