Starbucks

Traditionally, I may go to USC, CSULA or another location to get some work done but when I’m in Carson, CA I make sure I set camp here. The Starbucks on Avalon by the South Bay Pavilion shopping center, aka The Carson Mall, has to be the most friendly one in the 5 mile radius. The staff here, especially at night, often becomes the best of friends as we both embark in work for the rest of the night.
As far as location, it is conveniently located by the exit of the 405-​Freeway in both directions so getting your fix is a as simple as pulling up in their drive-​thru. The only con I would say about this location is that it is impacted by other stores in the area so parking is almost non-​existent.
In regard to quality of coffee or such, it does its job to say the least.
The staff here on day shift and night are equally as helpful no matter what side the sun may be sleeping on. I can admit that at times it gets a bit hectic but they do their job maintaining the production of coffee efficiently.
To the fullest extent, my two favorites would have to be Corey and Shawny. They always come through with the best customer service! In my past 6+ years of working in customer service I can say that knowing your regular customer’s name can really shape a positive experience for years to come.

I went to the Starbucks on Dominguez & Avalon, but they told me that the pumpkin spice latte was seasonal and that the season was over. Found out from customer service that this was not true. So, I bypass that location to go to this location because they’re way faster and didn’t lie to me.

Good for quick coffee.

I go to this Starbucks every morning the staff is friendly and very hard workers. I recommend using the order app in the morning because this place is usually packed around that time

The staff is nice and very friendly. But I can’t understand why they’re sooo slow in the AM and why they run out of pastries everyday. All in all, I prefer this location to the other one a few blocks away.

Nice location and plenty of room but terrible service! 4 unhappy bartistas who look like they hate their jobs forgot my order yet only 2 customers we’re there. Will never come here again!!!

About as simple as it can get. Right off of the freeway. Across the street from Ikea (well sorta). Drive thru available. Sometimes I feel walking in is faster than ordering through the drive thru. Anyways, grande drip — boom. No hassles. Service with a smile. Clean location. Will try and make this a regular stop on Fridays.

Love coming here since my mom bought a house in Carson.
As a former Starbucks barista, the baristas here are friendly, attentive and remember your name if you come regularly. (Remembering names and drink orders come with territory when you work at Starbucks)
What’s good about this Starbucks is that has a drive thru and makes it easy when you have to hop on the 405 freeway.

I like this location — the drinks come out great & the workers are friendly. There is ample seating available both indoors and outdoors (even during finals week). My only (minor) complaint is that the dining area is not always well-​kept/​clean. However, the uncleanliness is minor and limited to bread crumbs. Overall, this is an efficient location. Plus — they have a drive thru!

I’m relocating to Carson, so I went on a hunt for the best star bucks in town and I think I found the best one in state. They’re fast, polite, accurate and filled my cup to the tip top.

The servers here are actually rude. When I ask for my drink to be made with espresso, please add the espresso without rolling your eyes or trying to correct me. How about explaining to the customer why your version of the drink is better?
Not usually picky about Starbucks but please don’t be rude and give the «really?» Eyes/​face, its bad customer service. At least let me walk away first, geez.

Too loyal to this Starbucks for me to venture off. It took awhile, but Jesus is my new barista. 4 thumbs up on his frappuccino!!! They are thee only one that had Pumpkin Spice in stock till mid March and Caramel Brulee till mid April (both seasonal flavors). Another bonus is that it’s in Target
