Driving south on I-75, returning home from our road trip, and all of a sudden I felt the car begin to swerve. It is like an out of body experience … dude, did I do that? Did the car take on a mind of it’s own? Maybe it was a sudden gust of wind. Anyway, I know what to do, it is time for a large coffee, a stretch of the legs, and of course a Dunkin Donuts. Now, in Florida, Dunkin Donuts are more prevalent than public libraries so we(Floridians) quickly become connoisseurs of these little fat pills. A quick check of Unilocal, and sure enough I found one within driving distance. The added impetus, woke me from my slumber, and we followed our Bing app to the newly imputed destination. It was not a quick on and off, but hey, we were in search of sustenance. The pastry bin at the DD was definitely picked over … even to the point of having half donuts in the case(like broken donuts). The selection was pitiful, but I selected a chocolate icing donut(my favorite the peanut donut was no where to be found ‚. nor was the apple fritter). The coffee was luke warm, which makes it easy to gulp, but is not the best way to serve coffee. All in all, it served our purpose, but as I said it was a little disappointing for a five mile detour from the interstate.

The staff is nice here. They work hard to fill orders quickly and use cute phrases like«Hun» and«darling.» I’ve only once had to wait a long time and they apologized and gave me a free donut. The menu is the same as other locations. The donuts are very good but not spectacular. We all like the cinnamon sugar the best. They still have a good assortment in the evening. They also have a nice mix of drinks both hot and frozen. I love their iced tea. I’m glad we have this store in Cartetsville.

Busy little place. Dunkin menu has healthy options and afternoon specials sometimes on drinks and donuts. Staff is pretty good here no complaints
