WHATYOUTALKINBOUTWILLIS? I am a bit confused by this shop. It caught my attention with a sign that said Civil War Collectibles but when we went inside, we only saw paintings and posters, framed and unframed. We didn’t really SEE any Civil War artifacts or «real» collectibles. There were a couple of Civil War posters,(sold at Hobby Lobby for $ 25), that he had framed and finished with a shiny texture. He then added a price tag of $ 225. Ouch! Tsk! Tsk! I am not speculating about these posters, I have first-hand knowledge because I own both of them. Here’s the lesson fellow Unilocalers: Before you even think about purchasing framed art, know exactly what you are getting. It is best to just purchase your own prints and have them custom framed or do it yourself and save a wad of cash. Hobby Lobby prints are 50% off everyday and they have great framing options. You can select a finished frame of your choice or go for a custom frame. If you must pay for framed art, it should be original or at least reasonably priced. I don’t know if this is a new store or not but it doesn’t have an on-line presence at all,(no address or phone number for the name listed on the building). This shop is located between the Herb Shoppe and Spring Place Pottery on Main Street. Shop Wisely!
