Johnny’s New York Style Pizza

Very disappointed! We picked up a to go order only to get home and find that it was wrong. We called to notify them of this and was told that no manager was available. We waited 20 minutes for a return phone call and was expected to drive back across town so that the manager could look at what we received. We received an «I’m sorry» and that was it. Will never eat here again. Customer service is terrible.

I called an order in and they said 20 minutes ok great. I showed up and paid she said sorry it’s gonna be 10 more minutes ok no worries. 50 minutes total and I got my pizza !!! Thanks

This is the east Johnny’s pizza I’ve been too. I’m not a huge fan of Johnny’s pizza usually, but I thought the pizza at this location was better than any other store I’ve visited in the chain. I like the atmosphere in the bar and restaurant, and wouldn’t mind going to the bar to have a few one night.

Best pizza in Cartersville. Love the thin crust and great taste. Garlic knots are amazing. And dollar a slice Monday is perfect for anyone trying to eat cheap on a Monday. Always say fast and great service everyone is very friendly.

We love this place! Garlic knots are to die for! Best pizza around! The service is so great. We have to eat here at least once a week. Everything tastes great and the owner is a super guy. Friendly place. Great atmosphere. My son loves the games in the back. We have our favorite booth. Don’t get our spot, but make sure you come by for some tasty pizza anyway you want it!

We went in for lunch, first time at this particular location. The server greeted us and took our drink order immediately. The table was wet and we had dirty silverware under our feet. Two other tables were filled and 2 more sat while we were there. I was told the coupon I had out of the big Entertainment book wasn’t valid there because they never authorized it. The bathroom only had 2 stalls and one didn’t lock. There was a trail of napkins, straw wrappers and sticky spills on my way to the bathroom. The server appeared to be working the entire floor including bussing tables and possibly more alone. She was very sweet and told us our slices would be a while because fresh pizzas had to be made. The pizza itself was pretty good. More cheese is needed. Salad was standard. I felt really like I was in a place that wouldn’t be dirty if the server had some help. When we left the cook thanked us for coming in. My reason for the 2 is cleanliness not up to par, not enough staff, long wait, not honoring coupon printed with this location.

I love going here. I always get the Stromboli which is wonderful. The staff is very friendly and my order is always on time. I usually call in my order to go.

Great food and excellent service. We have been here multiple times now and we are never disappointed. The garlic knots with bacon and cheese are delicious. The nice surprise here is the beer selection. There is always a good selection on draft of craft beers that rotate frequently. The bottle selection is also decent, and the prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended.

Well, we still haven’t found good pizza in Cartersville. Evidently there’s a cheese shortage here. First Mellow Mushroom… twice, now Johnny’s. Having just moved here from Marietta, and being used to great pizza, we are very disappointed. We sent the pizza back to have cheese added. It would have been one thing to deal with just the naked pizza but then our intelligence was insulted when the server brought the pizza back telling us that it «wasn’t missing cheese, it was just a bubble.» Like I can’t see the crust and pizza sauce on the other parts of the pizza. To pour salt in the wound they charged us seventy-​five cents for the «extra cheese.» This location also charges for marinara sauce with the garlic knots (comes with them at all other locations,) and fifty cents for a tiny cup of hot sauce. We are still searching for good pizza in Cartersville.

Great New York style Pizza! Selection of draft beer is small but these folks have great tastes and an IPA lovers home place! Try the Mediterranean salad with a selection of Italian deli meats with the Southern Gourmet dressing. 420 draft, Check Yes!

Love coming here with my girlfriend. There are plenty of servers and the food comes out quickly. The ingredients are fresh and you never have to worry about cold pizza or food. The new remodel along with the new owners brought back so many customers and Johnny’s is now the best pizza place in Barrow. I will always love coming here and they now have a regular.

Awesome now that it is under new owners. Food and service was 100% improvement since last visit in 2012. Will definitely return.

Great food and service! New ownership and has been remodeled. A great place for watching football while enjoying the food and bar. Give it a try! Plenty of staff to take care of your needs. Met Chris the owner and he appears to ready to make this the happening place in Cartersville. Glad I came back. Now also has an outdoor patio.

So far it’s the best pizza restaurant in Cartersville but that’s not saying much. It’s bland thin crust pizza and the service is what you’d expect when the staff is underpaid. Also, it’s difficult to tell which door they are going to have open on any particular day so pull with caution.

Was not bad but also not the greatest. Felinis and Pie in the sky are better lunch destinations for pizza but Jonny’s is not bad, just not the best.

The pizza is very good, if a little pricy. The first time, service was awful (our appetizer came after we’d finished the meal; the server did not warn us it would be 30 minutes on the appetizer, apologize for its lateness, or ask if we still wanted it, or offer to put the appetizer on the house). The second time, service was much better.

We ordered plain (cheese) pizza.
It was okay but not good as I expected.
Coming from NYC, I am having a hard time to find that «NY pizza.»
But the restaurant name is not lying about it; it is a New York STYLE not a New York pizza. So it was my fault that I had a high expectation.
However, it is not even close to NY STYLE though…
