In attempting to make my sterling silver Gucci bamboo bangle smaller, it broke in half. To say I freaked out was an understatement! I went in to Stiles Jewelry to consult with them about the repair and the staff was very accommodating and helpful. On the verge of tears, I showed themmy sad little bangle and the owner immediately gave suggestions. While saudering was the last thing on my list, I was desperate to wear it again. Before I could agree to the repair, the owner pulled up the Gucci website and was writing down phone numbers. Before they make the repair, the owner suggested I contact the Gucci corporate office for the repair. Having already asked Gucci at Phipps to replace the broken piece, I thought it was a dead end. She was encouraging and told me to go to the top to get it fixed or even replaced. I only wish I got her name! It’s not everyday that you are in a business and the owner is actually giving away business! I appreciate her looking out for me and giving me such a great idea! In the end, her suggestion worked. Gucci replaced my bangle for a new one. While I also had a few watch batteries replaced while I was at Stiles, I was blown away by their above and beyond customer service. It’s refreshing to see a business actually look out for its customers.
