Tiny — I repeat — TINY thrift shop just a couple of blocks down from Dean’s Antique Mall and a half dozen blocks from the Carthage square. It’s well worth going inside. They have a lot of women’s business clothing in good condition from the 70s-90s which makes excellent«raw material» for those who may like to put their own twist on things. Lots of blouses, dresses, skirts and jackets that can be updated and made to fit into present day fashions. Also a LOT of men’s nice shirts especially in sizes L/XL and XXL. Think«dad» shirts like denim and corduroy and flannel, but all clean and in good condition. Low prices. The guy running this place is very friendly and personable, and seems open to haggling and making special deals. We bought some clothing and he gave us several old magazines for free(we were gonna buy them anyway). He said that due to the Route 66 location they have shoppers come in from all over the world. Their shoes and bags were not in the best shape, but again this place is cheap! There is not really room for a lot of housewares or furniture due to the shop’s size but it’s charming and fully stocked. I would absolutely return.
