Staff is very friendly and the shop is very cute and unique. Cupcakes were very presentable but the flavoring was okay and sort of artificial tasting. Accepts credit cards with a $ 10 limit.

Perhaps things have changed in the half dozen months since the last review, becasue I found the cupcakes to be delectable. I only tried the vanilla on vanilla but the cake was flavorful and the frosting was rich and smooth. It’s surprisingly hard to find a cupcakery where the cupcakes have both good frosting and cake. In my travels I’ve found that generally it’s one or the other. One thing I really found great was the woman running the shop let me know that there was no oil in it and it was butter based and so it needs to be refridgerated and when I was ready to eat it, to let it sit out and get to room temperature. That’s how a lot of cupcakery’s bake, but hardly any will tell you that or how to make sure your cupcake is at it’s tastiest when you eat it. It’s good to know they’re looking out for newcomers. Anyhow, four out of five, because price was a little high. It was more than 3 $ for a regular, nothing special vanilla.

I tried four different kinds of cupcakes and a red velvet whoopie pie and can’t really say any were great. The whoopie pie cake was dry and the filling had no real flavor and was very dense. I like my filling to be fluffy and light. As for the signature«Wicked» cupcake, it was supposed to be peanut putter but my husband actually asked me what it was. The cupcakes are huge but i would rather have a smaller size and more distinct flavor. Sorry, to say I won’t go back again even though I was so happy to see them open. I would go to Cupcake Charlies in Pymouth instead.
