I jumped for joy when I saw that this place offered delivery to my Apt, which brought the total up to 4 non-Pizza places that would deliver to mi casa. Half an hour later, I get a call from , with a nervous guy on the other end of the line telling me that the restaurant doesn’t have a driver, the order would be refunded aaaaaand they were sorry before hanging up the phone. Whiskey Tango Foxtrot!!! Now it’s too late to order from most places on 919 Dine, and I’m still not in the mood for Lucky 7(good, but too soon) or Biryani Maxx Indian Cuisine(that place literally takes an hour and a half to deliver on a good day). Thank Glob that Jimmy John’s is still open and willing to deliver, else I’d have to haul my fat a$$ out of my apartment and like, actually drive somewhere to get my own food. Shudder the though, I demand to be served, or at the very least have my food dropped off at the threshold of my apartment. Moving on, I would have loved to see how this place fared against Alpaca, but now I’ll have to sate my hunger on this glorious JJ Gargantuan which was just delivered as I write this very line. BTW, Elle Driver was right in Kill Bill: Vol. 2 when she said: «You know, I’ve always liked that word… ‘gargantuan’… so rarely have an opportunity to use it in a sentence.»

I was in the mood for some chicken and rice so I went looking for this restaurant. I was disappointed in discovering that this place no longer exists as I was told by some of the other businesses that are located near were this restaurant should be. I ended up getting dominos pizza instead since I was still hungry.

I usually do not risk dining at a restaurant with such mixed reviews, but I made an exception in this case. Shouldn’t have. I figured that if chicken was their claim to fame, it would be good. It was horribly over-cooked…even the dark meat was crumbly dry. Skin was far beyond«charcoaled»…it was burnt and inedible. Corn was mushy and chewy. Black beans were ok. I had ordered my meal to-go, so it would have been very inconvenient to «return» it. I hate to see any restaurant fail… so I hope this one takes a look at what they serve and make some adjustments.

Not sure what restaurant the previous reviewers were reviewing but the chicken here was arguably the best I have had in a long time. Plantains, yucca, black beans were on point. Side salsas and dipping sauce were awesome. Green sauce is hot so be careful if you are worried about spice. Yes it is a little weird walking in to a restaurant that also serves Indian food along with the chicken but it is really nice inside, have a good amount of TVs and we left satisfied in terms of food and price Wait staff was quick but if I had to ding you guys a little I would maybe be a little more friendly. Nothing really to be worried about though. Chef even came out to ask us how everything was. Excellent Peruvian style chicken and sides and a price to match. We will be back! Probably to try the Indian too!

Sadly, EVERYTHING on the previous review is true. I just went for lunch with my husband and it was a horrible experience! When we get there the server wanted us to sit right by the door when it is freezing outside so luckily we moved but she looked bothered when we asked to move. We told her we were there for the first time and she asked us if we wanted the buffet. I thought to myself buffet? I have a flyer for a «Peruvian» place. I told her we were there for the chicken and she brought us the flyer menu which is the same one I have at home. We both ordered a chicken dish he got ½ and I got ¼ and then when when we asked what the sauces were she said«the same ones you get for takeout». Did she miss the memo of when I told her that we had NEVER been there? So again, I ask her and she’s like«let me bring you the sauce». I thought to myself ok. So she brings the sauces and one is a yellow mustard/mayo type sauce that has a bit of heat that was actually good EXCEPTNOONE could tell us what was in it. We asked the lady that appeared to be the manager and all she knew was that it was a mild/medium spice level and the green one(which was gross BTW) was considered«hot». The food overall was ok, the black beans were actually pretty tasty and they did have a bit of latin flair to them however, the service, the smell, the overall look of the restaurant leaves a lot to be desired and I will never go back.

Where do I begin. When my family arrived there, we were the only people there. The waitress looked at us like we were zombies or something. She did not make us feel welcome at all. I finally spoke up and said«yeah we have never been here before…» And then she proceeded to tell us that this place was two eesturants in one. Which was really odd. It was Indian cuisine and mexicanish. We look at the menus decide Togo for the family dinner which was 2 whole chicks, 4 sides and 6 cans of soda. When the food came out it wasn’t the whole chicken. They took out the breast meat and kept it for themselves. The size of the side items were ridiculously small. The chicken was cooked awhile ago and wasn’t fresh. They overheard us talking about how small they were and the manager offered us one more side item. Which was pointless cause we were already done with the meal by then. The taste of the food was nothing special at all. My sister makes better tasting chicken at home. And after all that all that got extremely sick the next morning. I do not recommend this place at all.
