I came for the first time and loved my chicken Stromboli and chicle Parmesan pasta. The chicken is zabihah so that makes it even better!

Great small pizza shop. The subs and pizza are always hot and fresh. The people here and friendly and have speedy service. The prices are very reasonable. I go to this place about two times a week since I moved to Cary and haven’t had a bad experience. Definitely worth a try.

The food is amazing but the delivery suuuuuuccckkkksss. Don’t get the delivery. It will come hours late, be spilled all over inside the bags and not have everything you ordered. Once again, the food is on point.

Called to place a pick up order, they actually 1) ran out of lettuce then 2) sold us a chicken salad with NO lettuce at full price despite us asking if the«salad minus lettuce» would be discounted. The clerk told us he could not give a discount. All this plus it took 30min to prepare! Oh, and they were out of receipt paper… convenient. I later called back to voice my complaint because it wasn’t sitting right with me. The manager on duty(Mike) said that my wife should not have placed the phone order after being informed of the lack of lettuce and that because she technically agreed to pay full price on the phone he wouldn’t any do anything to rectify the situation. Now, my wife is way too nice to say anything so this is why she didn’t speak up. But now she’s here in our kitchen preparing our own lettuce for her meal, despite paying full price for take out from this poorly run business. Horrible, horrible, horrible.

Do NOT order delivery! It took an hour and a half for my food to be delivered — I took the bag from the guy, went inside and realized it was COMPLETELY wrong! Called the store immediately, and the associate said he would call the driver and my order must have been switched. Called me back two minutes later to say that my food would not be delivered ASAP, they would have to make my order again and have it delivered once it’s ready. No discount or refund. Ridiculous! Still waiting for my food to get here.

I did the check in on your ad for an $ 8.99 large pizza. Your associate did not know what I was talking about. When the associate asked the manager she said the manager didn’t know what Unilocal was!!! If you are going to put ads on Unilocal maybe you should tell your employees! Don’t go here! Their employees are not aware of their advertised specials and will not honor.

In the past I’ve been here and thought it was good, but was really disappointed the last Calzone had so much cheese it was almost inedible after the first few bites(this from a cheese lover!!) And they were pretty stingy with the other toppings. I only got a few pieces of sausage and veg and could barely find them for all the cheese! Just seemed sloppily put together. I will try one more time, hopefully it will be improved. If not… on to the next place, I guess…

I used to order from Cappolla’s on a fairly regular basis through GrubHub. Today, however, I see that they are no longer offering delivery. What a shame.

I come here for lunch all the time. It’s a clean little strip mall Mom and Pop pizza joint. Their lunch prices are cheap and the staff is super friendly.

We ordered from this pizzeria several times when we first moved to the area and didn’t have anything to cook with. The pizza is really delicious — better than most of the chains. Great dinner for when you don’t feel like cooking! Plus they are always running specials.

5 stars? Really? To get that, a place needs atmosphere, service and class. This is a high school hangout. The poor checkout person couldn’t even tell me that the check-in special was a paper draft that needed to be printed BEFORE I checked in. No deal here.

Need to grab lunch, was craving pizza and this was near by. I should have known by it being completely dead at lunch time something was wrong. The drink and two slices deal was nice but the pizza was greasy and far from crispy like I requested. Typical pizza joint, nothing special.

I called in an order for a large pepperoni pizza and a side of garlic knots. The service was really great. The initial phone contact went smoothly and the gentleman running the register was friendly. The pizza seemed to be made on a premade frozen crust, nothing special here. The pizza itself was very average, not bad, but no wow. The garlic knots were average, perhaps just a tad overdone and light in the garlic butter. It is fairly inexpensive, but nothing special. Given the Italian name if the joint I expected much better, it might not even compare favorably to a DiGiorni frozen pizza. Avoid if you are looking for a great pizza. If you want cheap, clean, friendly and fast and aren’t looking for anything special, then it will suffice.

I decided to try out Cappolla’s when I found out that Hibachi Xpress closed down(RIP btw). Cappolla’s has your standard Italian fare, complete with pizza, pastas, calzones, and subs. The prices looked moderate enough and I went with the Supreme Calzone — pepperoni, sausage, onions, peppers, mushrooms, hams, and black olives. All of the food here is made to order. The calzone took 15 minutes, which is an appropriate enough time. The calzone was served with marinara sauce, and they honored my request for a side of hot sauce(not readily available) at no additional charge. The calzone was underwhelming. They could’ve easily fit more toppings into it. At $ 8+, I expect more than dough with a few toppings inside. I also prefer my calzone crusts to be at least somewhat crispy. This crust was rather soft. Couple all of that with a very watery marinara sauce, and I was a tad disappointed with the meal. 3 stars — it wasn’t an awful meal. Still, I’m sure there’s better choices for cheap Italian.

Dough tasted like frozen ickiness. Spinach was disgusting. Calzone crusts should be crispy not soggy. Place is dated at just simple seating. Not sure why anyone would pick here…

This isn’t a chain. It’s run by actual small business owners and that was enough to bring me in. I saw all the reviews on their page and thought I’d give them a try. Why not, right? The place is really clean and that took me by surprise. I’m used to most family pizza joints being too claustrophobic or gaudy décor and furniture. It’s simple here and that’s a huge plus in my book for this type of place. The menu is above the cash register and online if you wanted to order ahead or for delivery service. We went during the dinner rush and you had, I presume, the son cooking in the kitchen and a girl taking orders. She must have been new because she was getting an earful and had some confusion on her face. I’m sure she’ll get it over time. We ordered the $ 13.99 coupon(Choose 2 of the Pastas, Stromboli or Subs and 2 soda cans). Not a bad deal; saves you about $ 4 when all said and done. Everything is made fresh and in front of you if you choose to sit on the outer edges near the stone and glass. Our food, initially, came out surprisingly fast. It was the wrong order. Like I said, she must be new. I won’t blame her. The guy had to wait for another 15 mins and we felt bad. Our food came out in about 15 mins. It was a long wait. I’m not going to lie. But, everything is made fresh and cooking up a calzone takes some time to cook thoroughly. I understand that. Food comes out as I expected it would look like and there are no surprises. The Supreme Calzone looked good. I didn’t order it but my friend did. What really irked me though was the lack of meat. It had more veggies than anything. Plenty of onions, olives and bell peppers. Where was the meat? It was supposed to have pepperoni, none of which I saw. And that disappointed me. The lasagna was definitely pre-made and heated in the oven. It was slathered in tomato sauce and lacked any significant tastes of seasoning. I just couldn’t taste the typical Italian herbs you would come to expect. I’m not even sure if they make their tomato sauce in-house. The dough was made fresh and tossed old-school with plenty of seasoning on the calzone. Overall, the food was ok. Very ok. They deserve a 3.5 rating in my books for now. I’ll try their pizza and may change my mind. My food today though wasn’t 4.5 star deserving. Not even close. They’re a small business and I understand you must cut costs. Although serving a supreme calzone with little to no meat or any meat that you said would be in it? Eh… that’s a little much.

I’ve visited Cappolla’s a few times now and I have to say, the reason I keep coming back is because it’s the best bang for your buck. I’ve had the stromboli, spaghetti, and chicken parm and everything has been pretty good. Nothing’s been out-of-my-mind stellar, but for the price you’re paying, it’s great. If you’re going to eat with a friend, you can use the coupons their have on their site or on their flyers and basically get free drinks with your meal. Gotta agree with everyone else on one part though – the garlic knots are to die for! Service is always great as well. It usually takes about 10 – 15 minutes for them to prepare your food so it’s probably a good idea to call first. I know some Cappolla’s have online ordering, but this one does not.

We are fans! Bought the $ 10 for $ 20 deal and ate like pigs with some leftovers for $ 22.13. So, essentially I paid $ 12.13 for two strombolis, 2 salads, &2 drinks. Salads has onions and green peppers, which I picked off leaving pickles and tomato slices. Would like to see some other toppings. Food was great. Service was friendly and fast. They even ha cheerwine in the fountain soda machine. We will be back!
