Jiffy Lube

I went to Jiffy Lube for a quick oil change, since the Mr. Tire in the same shopping center had an hour and a half wait and I didn’t have that much time to spare. Luckily, there were not any cars ahead of me, so I did not have to wait long. Their waiting area also has the perks of a TV, coffee and free wifi.
While the service I received was great, it was way more expensive than what it would have been at Mr. Tire… which is not what I was expecting. Not to mention that Jiffy Lube charges an additional $ 20 for a tire rotation, but at Mr. Tire they include it for free with the oil change. I could have left and decided to wait it out at Mr. Tire, but I was just ready to get on with my day. One thing that I really did appreciate during my visit was that one of the guys noticed how squeaky my door was and made the extra effort to lubricate it with some WD40. So yet again, their service was excellent. My only complaint is the surprising price difference between them and Mr. Tire.

I just had my service there for a transmission check. I was so amazed about their service. The lady there is very nice and knowledgable. The service was quick and I am very satisfied!
I will highly recommend this place.

I went for a state inspection for my vehicle at this location on Sept 24, 2015 since it is near to my office. This was my first ever inspection since my car is new. I called up before going and I was told that it would take only 15 mins and since my car is new it would only involve safety inspection. When I reached there, I was asked to wait in the waiting room for about 35 mins. After the inspection was done, the lady called me up to the reception for payment. She was not polite at all. When I saw the bill, it was $ 10 more. They had charged $ 10 as tint test fee. This was not told to me before they took my car for inspection. Since it was my first inspection I was not aware for this fee. When I asked what does that test mean, she was very rude and was not willing to answer. I asked again and then she said it is for verifying that tint is correct. My point is this should have been told to me before starting with the inspection. Overall I wasn’t happy with the treatment I received at this Jiffy Lube location. I don’t think I am ever going to visit this location again and would be suggesting my friends and colleagues not to go there either.

Service was fast. Staff was incredibly polite. Waiting room and bathroom were spotless, free coffee and WiFi. Oil change and state inspection together took less than 30 min. Informative but not pushy mechanics, will definitely return.

I’ve stopped in here to get an oil change a few times and always received decent service. Not a big fan of Jiffy Lube’s prices but it’s in a convenient location.

Stay away from JIFFY LUBE! I hate writing reviews because it takes time I don’t have. Lucor Inc., in NC own Jiffy Lube franchises. We took my car in a couple of weeks ago for an oil change right before a trip to TN and NC for Memorial for the. first, they emptied the oil before they realized they didn’t have the oil my car takes. I have a Jetta TDI (diesel) 2. they took 2 hours. 3. they went to get the out at an auto parts store and charged $ 104. I’ve never spent more the $ 50 for synthetic oil change. They seem to think this is the first oil change a 2009 car has ever gotten, so they could take advantage. 4. on the drive to TN through the appalachians there was rattling and the engine light came on. We were able to drive, but for the long weekend the one dealership we found an hour and a half away to find out it was closed. I guarantee this location WILL CLOSE soon because of the poor poor service. To top it off, I their FB social media reps only apologize but don’t seek to resolve. You should go on their FB and see the complaints. Next, I finally get a hold of customer service by phone. They tell me that this is a franchise and complaints are handled with them. The company is called Lucor Inc., although, Ryan from their customer service kept telling me it was Locur as if it wouldn’t be easy to find them. They don’t have Let me tell you, be wary of large companies who do not make it easy to get their help. They don’t want to hear about their awful service, but want to take your money. When Ryan, the customer service representative from Lucor called he was cunning, patronizing, asking how long i owned they car. He was trying to confuse me and trying to twist what I was saying like he was a homicide detective trying to get the murderer to talk. He said to call him when I got a diagnosis for the rattling in my car. He never apologized for the crappy service. As a matter of fact, he was smug and didn’t understand what I expected him to tell me. This man is so ethical he liked calling me out on my sarcasm after that and when I told him about the «shitty reviews,» he said that he wouldn’t listen if I couldn’t be professional. Oh such a righteous and ethical man he is, isn’t he? Furthermore, in probing for some resolution about the poor, unethical service he said they didn’t have a protocol. Just hung up with them and had to let you all know. This company is bad new people and that 1 great review is a fraud. They don’t have a pic or friends. Hello… seriously. They have to BUY review to elevate their business. They should fire everyone and have ethical employees and protocols. Do more research on this company – ripoffreport (.com) has a bad bad review on them too. STAY AWAY! They will mess up your car and next thing you know you or your family are in danger because of these careless people. Poor service from headquarters all the way to Virginia Beach VA on Great Neck.

Been to a jiffy lube before just not this one. I am usually not a fan of these places but I really needed an oil change and this was close to my place. They take your car as soon as tou get there and offer coffee or water while you wait. I stopped in and it only took about 20 maybe 30 mins for them to complete the oil change. They did ask me about certain filters they recommended changing but they did not try to pressure me into it like some jiffy lube places will. Overall they did a nice, quick job.

Brought my car in to be inspected. I’ve had it for a few years, this is the first time I’ve had it inspected here. Drop-​off went fine, they told me 15 minutes.
25 minutes later, I come back, they are just finishing. Okay, no big deal. I go to pay, and get hit with $ 10 for window tint fee. I’ve never been charged this before as my windows were factory tint.
I point this out, and the person ringing me up argues with me and insinuates that I am trying to break the law. I ask if there’s anything he can do, knowing that inspection stations can charge _​up to_​the specified amounts, and he again acts like I’m trying to do something illegal!
The response when I pointed out I’ve never been charged that before is «Well, they were doing it wrong and breaking the law.» If anything, the law says they need to do that part of the inspection. It doesn’t require them to charge $ 10 for 30 seconds’ work. They could’ve been sympathetic and offered to help make it right, but it was easier to let me leave angry.
The whole thing reminded me why I stopped getting oil changes done at JL.

Quick, friendly, and they got the job done. Oil change was done in fifteen minutes.
I arrived 20 minutes before close and they were happy to get me in and out.

I’ve always enjoyed coming to this Jiffy Lube. Generally friendly staff who do a very thorough job of inspecting your vehicle. Waiting room is pleasant and they always offer coffee, the day’s paper and the ability to watch TV while you wait. They offer the coupon book after your first visit with plenty of coupons to use when you come back. Their prices are generally lower than most and if you address price as a concern over maintenance they may be able to help lower the costs.

This was my first Jiffy Lube experience and it was a good one! Staff was personable, respectful and knowledgeable. Upon arrival I was greeted and offered coffee and the waiting room was clean and comfortable.
These guys got me in and out in less than 15 minutes! I’d highly recommend this Jiffy Lube and will be back. Thanks for the oil change, guys!

I don’t normally like these «quick lube» type places, but the people at this location have done a good job for oil changes on my diesel truck and I’ll keep going back since it’s convenient for me to come here. Make sure you get one of their thick coupon books … that’ll help save a few $.

I came by today to get my car inspected. Greeted me right away, showed me into the waiting area, and had me in and out in under 15 minutes. They informed me ahead of time that there was going to be an extra 10 dollar charge for the inspection because of my window tint. At check out I was given a coupon book for there other services. Extremely courteous staff, I will certainly be back come inspection time.

Fast service — no longer than 15 minutes. Clean lobby with a decent amount of seating, plentiful magazines, hot coffee, and a TV. I love being able to use the «$ 10 Off» coupons for my oil changes (they charge $ 1 for the coupon book).
Employees were super pleasant and didn’t try to press me too hard to pay for anything extra (they did ask about the state of my wiper blades — and they’re perfectly fine — so that was a big «no» to an unnecessary charge). They did recommend I get my radiator flushed in my next visit (as they did two visits before), but my dad says that’s unnecessary. The other Jiffy Lube I’ve been to has tried to upsell me on more expensive oil, but this one didn’t.
All and all, decent place and great service!

I’ve used this Jiffy Lube on and off since I’ve lived in the Cary/​Morrisville area and it’s one of the speedier oil changes I’ve ever received. Recently, I needed to get my car inspected and get the oil changed, so I stopped in after work. I only sat there for about an hour and the guys let me know what things I might need replaced (tag lights, wiper blades, etc.) and helped me get in and out ASAP. Like any other shop, they try to talk you into a new air filter or better quality oil, but if you’re good at saying «no», their services won’t break the bank.
They always give you a big book of coupons when you leave and there’s a TV and magazines in the waiting area to keep your attention while you wait.

I don’t trust dealers very much so I decided to try out jiffy lube to get my oil changed.
What I like about Jiffy Lube is I can watch them work. The techs are not hidden back in some garage where you can’t see what they’re doing. The place is clean and well kept, they have coffee and a soda machine along with a TV in the waiting room.
They’re open on weekends which is a huge plus to me, this way I can swing by on Sunday and have my oil changed and not have to take time from work. They have all your manufacturer schedules so you know what to do when and you can get in and out with out an appointment.
I’ve had my inspections, oil changes and tire rotations done here and never had an issue.
