Little Tokyo is located in the Cary Town Center Food court. It serves American Chinese food although the name suggests otherwise. We shared a 3-entrée plate for $ 6.99. Other than the variety, there was no difference between the 1, 2, or 3 entrée plate in terms of food quantity. For the entrees, we got the bang bang chicken, black pepper chicken, and green beans. The black pepper chicken was very sweet with a layer of caramelized sugar around each piece of chicken bites. I could barely taste the black pepper in the chicken. The bang bang chicken was less sweet and was very tender. The green beans were a little undercooked. The sauce was flavorful but it did not translate to the green beans. Just like every other food court, they do hand out samples. I recommend trying out all the entrees that you plan on purchasing so that you know what you will be getting. I did not do that for the black pepper chicken and regretted getting that dish.

Been driving past this place for years and decided to stop in and give it a shot. I’d have to say that it was just average. Nothing wrong, but nothing outstanding either. Not sure I’ll come back, because there is better sushi in the Triangle.

It’s okay. Typical Asian place you find in mall food courts everywhere. Not much to say about it except you might regret it AFTER you’re done eating it.

This is hands down my favorite Japanese restaurant in the Cary mall. I have enjoyed dining at Little Tokyo, they have various fresh foods and sushi, also will give 10%off coupons.

I honestly had no intention of going to this place in the mall as I was walking past them on my way to ChickFilA then the lady yelled out plate for $ 2.99. You know me, I could not pass up a good deal. The pizza guy across the hall was saying«2 slices and a drink for $ 6.49, that’s a good deal» and I was thinking that is really expensive. The reason why the Asian food was so cheap was because they were closing, so why not sell it cheap instead of tossing it in the trash. I was given the option of one meat and rice for $ 2.99 or I could add a second meat for $ 1 more. They were piling the food on the plate. I can definitely say that I got my money’s worth that night. As far as the taste, the blackened chicken was good, but the General Tso’s Chicken was too sweet. I would go back and order from them again as the food was decent.
