By far, the very best Chinese food in the Cary area! I have tried many others, but none compare. Very pleasant restaurant seating with excellent service. Special requests are always accommodated. I’ve recommended this restaurant to others who were not disappointed.

The taste of the food was very good and the quantity good as well. Prices are very reasonable in my opinion. We ordered for takeout and it was ready promptly. I will order from this place again.

Did not go in for 6 months to see if they get it together. Used to be my favorite in Cary. Continues to slide in the following categories. Quality of ingredients, portions, taste, viscosity of dishes(seem watered down and the soups too), aged décor, hasn’t changed in over 10 years and the consistency of each dish depending on who’s cooking.

I love my chinese food. I’m from STL and I swear we have the best– personal opinion. I ordered orange chicken with white rice and veggie fried rice. The orange chicken did not at all taste like orange chicken. It was more of a bourbon kind of taste with orange rinds that had been cooked down and thrown into the bowl. The veggie fired rice lacked a lot of flavor. I was very disappointed in the taste of my food. WARNING: to ladies that shop or eat in this area, PLEASEUNDERNOCIRCUMSTANCESHOULDYOULEAVEANYVALUABLESINYOURCAR. There was a lady that had her car broken into while I was waiting on my food. According to the cops its been happening a lot in that shopping center.

Best Chinese I’ve had here in Cary. I had the sesame tofu and my husband had the shrimp and chicken with garlic sauce. So good!!!

New to the area looking for a Chinese spot we ended up here. It was great and unusual. I usually get sesame chicken or general tso. The sauce was much darker instead of a brown or reddish glaze it had the color of soy or teriyaki eg. Much darker. I was skeptical but we both thought it was awesome. Service was great and they even brought out fried won ton chips and dip to lunch on while we waited. Will def go back

Gave this place three tries. First time was OK. Not great, but better than mall Chinese food. Second time the food was bland as could be. When ordering the lunch special, I asked the waitress if I could pay extra and get a larger soup. Her answer was«No.» Third time I ordered the Egg Foo Young and it was like it had been soaked in oil. You could push down on it with a fork and see the grease run out of it. When I asked for the check, the waitress seeing that I barely touched it asked if everything was OK. I told her it was very greasy and showed her by pushing down with a fork. Her response was«Ohhhh.» She proceeded to take my money and said«Sorry» as I left. Needless to say, I won’t be back. Greasy food and non-existent customer service is a bad combination.

Stopped by for lunch as it was right across the street from my salon. The décor is pretty tacky — but the food’s satisfying, so it doesn’t really matter. We opted for the $ 6.50 lunch special which is available in the usual Chinese restaurant offerings(General Tso’s chicken, beef and brocolli, sesame chicken, etc) and ordered the sesame chicken and sweet and sour chicken. We first received the egg roll which came in the lunch combo and it was awesome. Lightly crisped, and not too heavy on the filling. Dipped in the sauce they offered, these were great. Next, we received our entrees. They were just average, comparable to typical mall Chinese food. We may come back for the egg rolls, but probably won’t come back for the entrees. The folks there are really friendly though.

This place is soo good. I got the veggie garden dish with extra sauce. I always go during lunch as they have really good deals during the lunch time.

Fantastic Catering! We had a company dinner catered by Orient Garden last night. The food was delicious and plentiful. The order was well-packed and included everything needed — eating and serving utensils, plates, and condiments. The price was incredibly reasonable too! I highly recommend.

Called for take out after we did a Unilocal search along my wife’s route home. Very good lo mien(she got shrimp, I got pork.) Also had wonton soup(standard) and crab rangoon. Crab rangoon had a good flavor, but the bag it came in seemed to steam the crispiness out of them. Note — No menu online, and we didn’t have one. Dishes do not come in pint/quart sizes. One size, and it is a lot. Can easily split 1 lo mien next time.

They have the best General Tsao’s chicken hands down! They are reasonably priced and give courteous service. Food is great everytime we go! I highly recommend them. Way better than Neo China next door!

This is my go-to place for Chinese in Cary. It’s a little pricier than other places, but the portions are huge.

I had to thumbwrestle myself into giving 2 stars vs. 1. I’ve had good Chinese food. I’ve been to China town in San Francisco, I lived on the west coast for years and still feel like the lower tier Chinese places there were better than the supposed best in this area. I suppose if your idea of good chinese food is chicken that has been deep fried in a cloyingly sweet honey sauce, then douced with sesame seeds– or it’s good becasue they give you a load of food no matter the taste– maybe it is «good food». Orient Garden has had my business 3 times. I live about ½ mile away– and wished and hoped that I could have a place decent that is close. 1st time– about 7 years ago– maybe the flavor of real Chinese food was still too fresh– but the food was not good. Very typical syrupy sweet americhinese food. Went back about 3 years ago– same deal– went back in a major pinch about 2 months ago– same deal. I got soup that tasted like it had been made by cooks from the Ming dynasty. It was basically a load of stale mushrooms in what resemlebed dishwater. I made the hideous mistake of trusting them and ordered a shrimp dish– The shrimp tasted like chlorine and my intestines were teaching my toilet bowl Jeet Kune Do for the next 4 hours afterward. RULE1– never EVER order shrimp from a Chinese place unless your digestive system has earned this restaurant’s trust in at least 2 other meals from said place. Don’t say I didn’t warn you grasshopper.

Best Chinese food in Cary. One of the only places I’ve been to around here where you can get Sesame Chicken with All White Meat and it is actually ALL white meat. Prices are reasonable, and I found out about their lunch menu the other day — you can get a combination(meal comes with soup and a spring roll i think — i’m not sure because I don’t eat them), for $ 7 for lunch. Dinner prices are about $ 11 for a regular entrée. I live in Raleigh now, and I still drive to Cary to get Chinese food when I have a craving.

This Chinese restaurant has been, and is, within 5 minutes of my house since I moved here some 5 years ago. However, things often escape my attention and it was hidden in plain view until it was pointed out to me about 6 months ago by my boyfriend, who eats there sometimes with people from his work. It is easy to overlook it — it is just an unassuming little Chinese place in a strip mall near a Hallmark and a Kroger, but what comes out of this place is anything but average. They give you tons of food for the price, and they will be more than happy to customize your food depending on your dietary needs(vegan, etc). or spice preference. I cannot recommend this place enough.
