My son ordered a $$$ bouquet for me for Mother’s Day, but this company substituted it with a $ bouquet. Classic bait & switch! Guess they didn’t think he would check. Buyer beware! There are more reputable flower companies from which to choose. 5÷18÷2016: This is an update to my previous review. I love a business that takes pride in their service and remedies issues when warranted. It turns out it WASNOT Preston Flowers that was the source of the flower mix-up. My son ordered the arrangement from a third-party flower company, TELEFLORA. They were the guilty party in this incident, sending Preston Flowers the wrong flower order. This information was confirmed by my son. Though not the fault of Preston Flowers, they delivered the correct flower arrangement today(free of charge) and issued a formal apology to me and my son. I apologize to Preston Flowers for my previous review and hope it hasn’t impacted their business in a negative way. I encourage the community to patronize this business, as they stand by their service and did what it took to make this customer happy. Kudos!

When a company car is emblazoned with company name it is a reflection on the company. Driving within the speed limit as well as being a courteous driver always reflects well on the company if you drive otherwise it doesn’t.

Gary and staff combine unreal service with beautiful design and flowers. We just had a terrible winter storm that closed down the area including the flower shop for much of Friday and Saturday. My wife’s 41st bday is Sunday and i had ordered flowers to pick up on Saturday. they call me Friday morning telling me of the closures. I was at work and could not pick them up sadly. It looked like I would get the flowers Monday after her bday. Amazingly, Gary, the owner emailed me and then hand-delivered the flowers on Saturday in time for my wife’s bday. The shop was closed and the roads were icy and snow filled. This is beyond expectations and we are delighted and amazed. By all means if you need flowers in the greater Cary/Raleigh area, we would highly recommend Gary and Preston Flowers. Thank you! K6

Very disappointed after seeing«bouquet» two days after they were delivered to my ill mother-in-law. $ 73 excl tax and delivery for brown-tinged petals and so few flowers. Looked nothing like the pic nor description. No orchids — a major selling factor since they’re her favorite flower. The vase(square in pic, round delivered) was supposed to be lined with leaves(as shown) turns out to be a printed wrapper insert. Total waste of money.

I went last Tuesday to buy some flowers for my Wife’s birthday. Even though the store was about to close they could not have been more helpful. Floral arrangement not being a strong point with me, I was helped by a very kind and friendly assistant(Samantha) who came up with a beautiful display. The owner even insisted that I receive more stems as complementary because a couple of the original flowers looked a little dry in her opinion. They were very well received at home and its great to be greeted so warmly in a store when its about to shut its doors.

Nice flowers. Bad customer experience. OUTRAGEOUS prices! 2 roses = $ 12 + tax Edit: after listening to a Planet Money(podcast) about Valentine’s Day flowers, I realize this is not so outrageous. They still didn’t have great service, so I’m knocking one star off. They didn’t even say hi until 5 mins in.

I will not use this florist ever again. Last prom we ordered flowers for our daughters date 2 weeks early and prepaid. Got there at date we agreed upon to pick up and order was lost they tried to tell me I didn’t order there but luckily had the receipt. Thought ok maybe just busy so my husband ordered flowers for our 25th anniversary. Ordered online then called up the next day to confirm and was upsold no problem he explained for a special anniversary please deliver in the morning was told no problem. Of course he called me around 10:45 to see if I got the flowers. He called back and was told they were on the way and was told by the young lady you didn’t ask for AM delivery. At 3:45 no flowers and we had an event to attend he called back and was told since timing was now an issue we should stop by the shop since they were open until 5. No customer service no appology no anything. The flowers finally arrived sometime around 5 and left at the door. the flowers were bruised and my husband felt so bad and said he could have gotten better flowers at the grocery store for ½ the price. So disappointed that this business doesn’t care about their customers!

Last time we ever will use this vendor. My husband ordered flowers for a special anniversary. The delivery person calls me at 5:12pm and says she’s got a delivery. Since it was 90degrees outside, I requested the delivery be made in 45min as I would be home by then. She says she can leave it with a neighbor… and that was the«policy.» Since when did disturbing a neighbor become corporate policy? Anyway, in a nutshell, old flowers were delivered the next day. On a call to the shop, lady supposedly in-charge said, «take it up with 1800flowers and good day!» Now thats what I call customer service — and all this for only $ 89.97! They sure succeeded in making the occasion memorable.

I have purchased flowers and decorative items here before and have also received flowers from here in the past. Our company has had great arrangements for party events made up that were just beautiful and long lasting. This review is to compliment the staff on such great customer service though. This past Mother’s Day my son ordered by phone for an arrangement of Tulips to be delivered to me. Unfortunately the flowers, while beautiful, had an extremely short shelf life. I carried the vase back to show them and they quickly apologized and offered to replace the bouquet. What I received in return was a bright, cheery arrangement(sans tulips) that will brighten my room for days to come. Thank you Preston Flowers!

This review is for wedding flowers. I worked closely with Bonnie to achieve the floral design I envisioned and she really understood the look I wanted. The day of the wedding the flowers arrived at the designated time and I could not have been more pleased. The bouquets and corsages were gorgeous and the floral wreath for the door was INCREDIBLE. The wreath was one of my favorite design elements of the entire wedding day. The boutonnieres were just as we had discussed: unique, organic and masculine. When the professional pictures come in I will post a few here so you can see for yourself the quality of work available from Preston! I recommend Preston Flowers if you are planning a wedding in the Raleigh area. I found them to be a great value for the money and easy to work with.

Extremely unhappy with this florist. Walked in needing to buy flowers for my father’s wake. I requested an arrangement of Bleeding Hearts, so disappointed when we arrived at the funeral home and instead of Bleeding Hearts we got carnations in the shape of a heart! Immediately called the florist and we were told that Bleeding Hearts was a term used in the floral industry and there was no such thing as a Bleeding Heart flower. Not true! The arrangement looked cheap and downright ugly. The manager was unprofessional and wasn’t willing to do anything to rectify the situaton. We paid $ 300.00 for approximately 50 carnations, we were definitely overcharged. I will never patronize or recommend this florist to anyone.

Horrible experience with this florist. A particular flower was requested for my uncle’s wake and we ended up with something completely different. This was a special request from my aunt to her husband. A call to the florist resulted in nothing. I would not recommend this place ever. Where was the customer service? The manager made absolutely no attempt to rectify their error. Go elsewhere for your flowers. I would give them –5 stars but to post a review I have to give this place one star.

I was in the shopping center running errands and stopped in to get my grandma some birthday flowers. They had three large coolers at the entrance, but didn’t have a lot to choose from. I was about to leave and a worker came up and told me that they could make something for me in just a few minutes. I got to make a custom arrangement, they had it ready in 6 minutes(I counted!) and I only spent $ 25. The girls there were really helpful and they also had TONS of other gifts… like flower pots, mirrors and other home décor. I didn’t need any of that this time, but I will return to this flower show for sure!
