Was in there at 2:40pm there were only 3 people in the place the waitress was talking to the other 2 men customers about sports and just let us sit there and didn’t even acknowledge us or ask us for drinks or give us a menu horrible service. Finally writing this review because this is the second time this has happened at this place.

Home run. Just what We were looking for. Local pub with above average food and pleasant patrons and staff. The garlic parm wings were some of the best I’ve had in a long time — dry rub, fresh grated parm on top. Delicious. Perfect. Split a burger too — very good. Drink specials were awesome. Amanda, our sweet barkeep works Tuesday nights — she rocks.

Let me just say that the Coffee Porter from Raleigh Brewing set the stage for the 5 stars. What an incredible beer.
I felt like I had to get the Carolina burger because I’m an outatowner… and it was pretty good. The chili and slaw were a nice addition but neither one really stood out because of how prominent the mustard was. Ordered the burger medium and it was cooked very medium well, starting to wonder if I should order burgers medium rare to get them medium. Added sweet potato fries and those were good.
I also had a half order of sweet and spicy wings. It was nice that they even offered half orders. I asked the bartender if the regulars usually order them extra crispy and she told me that most do, so I did. Nothing too special about the sauce, other than it being a nice and sticky combination of sweet and spicy!
So what stood out was the beer, the mustard, and option for half orders of wings. Thanks for having me!

Went in for a quick beer during a Wednesday afternoon. Small place but nice and clean. Bartender was nice and the regulars were friendly. Didn’t have food but beer selection was good.

I was in the mood for a good burger and boy did they deliver… This burger was not hiding in the bun like most… This was a fresh hand pressed monster burger… bacon was perfectly cooked and the veggies were extremely fresh… The bun was outstanding… The fries were Delish. …

Stopped by because it was close to Phydeaux’s and we were hungry. Ordered right away, but food took a long time coming. Not that busy! When the food came out I took a bite of potato salad and it had gone bad! The waitress checked it out and agreed it was bad. She brought my fries, but my appetite was not well after having to spit my food in a napkin. My thoughts are, food is not kept at proper temp, or food had been sitting out or mayo had gone bad. Either way YUCK!

Food: I had the turkey melt with a lot of turkey and a slice of American cheese and onions. Heh, it reminded me of school lunches. My husband had the bacon burger and it looked pretty good, he said it was just good.
Service: The person who helped us was neither nice nor rude, just whatever. My order was incorrect, I didn’t need a sorry just got it! I misunderstood, but she seemed annoyed with me that it was wrong. Instead of bringing me the correct side she took my whole plate. I would have been fine if she had brought a plate so she could take the fries and replace them with chips, nope! I sat there for a few minutes watching my party eat. I guess my expectations were a little too high for a pub.
There are too many restaurants in the area to try this place again.

Extremely rude! Shady, dirty and lower class dump! Day and night, gangs congregate outside smoking and constantly creating a scene; well-​known for drunkenly disturbance and misconducts. Stay away

This place has the most amazing burgers and fries. I have had their bacon cheeseburger as well as their fried chicken sandwiches on several occasions and can I just say every single time the food is beyond delicious.
I typically call in my order first and it can take up to 20 minutes for it to be ready (usually on weekends and because they’re busy) but honestly it is well worth the wait. I’ve always been helped very quickly after entering the pub and the ladies there can definitely multitask. They can take my order/​see what I need all while pouring someone’s drink. They can do all this even while making you feel like you’re still their priority and a valued customer which I appreciate. I give it two whole hands up because it’ll take both to eat whatever amazing sandwich you get! :)

Nice place overall. Wait staff and bartenders are very friendly and polite; pleasant people. Small and homey feel to the place.
I got a regular hamburger and fries. Though I got my burger medium, I would have preferred the middle to be a bit warmer. Fries are decent, kinda hollow and overcooked, but I didn’t hate them. Good bar food with not too many choices

This is the worst «pub» I have ever had the misfortune of visiting. First and foremost the staff was RUDE! Maybe if I had sent the bimbo bartender a text I wouldnt have had to struggle for maybe 10 minutes to get her attention for a simple drink. Which apparently annoyed her greatly considering the eye roll and attitude. I ordered a jack and coke. Wheres the jack? The food was decent, it was just regular old bar food, nothing to write home about. The interior is gross it looks old and the walls are yellowy and its so dusty and dirty.

Came to trivia on a Wednesday night. The host was very sweet and inviting. A little bit of a local crowd… but the staff makes you feel like you are welcome… including, Heather. Our waitress, Heather was the most attentive and vivacious person and made this place happen for us. 5 stars which isn’t given lightly. If you are looking for a place that has a hometown pub vibe, with great food and a good atmosphere that isn’t too pompous in Cary, this is it. Cary critics 5 stars.

Service was ok but the food was not. Typical bar-​ish food. My fries were hard, hollow and over salted. My grilled cheese was over cooked to the point that all of the cheese had run out of the bread.

Nothing special here which would warrant a five star rating which others have given. Good food, reasonably priced, and friendly service. Run of the mill selection though. It is what it is trying to be which is a decent place to get a meal, maybe watch a game, and have a beer. Nothing more, nothing less

New owners in January have recreated a family fun dinner Pub. Wednesday’s is Trivia night ay 7pm. Excellent new menu and daily dinner specials.
