I was referred to this location of The Happy Tooth for a wisdom tooth extraction by Dr. Howard at the location in Chapel Hill. My entire experience was fantastic. Dr. Estrada is very friendly as are all the staff and you can tell they genuinely care about all their patients. I had all 4 wisdom teeth out and all were impacted so I was very nervous. Dr. Estrada eased my nerves and talked me through the whole procedure. She made sure throughout the procedure that I wasn’t in any pain.
The day after the procedure, I got quite sick from the pain medication and Dr. Estrada quickly had a new prescription filled for me. She also called later that day to check on me and make sure I was doing well.
I recovered quickly and upon my return for the follow up a week later, I was in very minimal pain and had been off medication for a few days. The office staff was very friendly, remembered me, and asked me how I fared after the first few days. It was nice to see people who remember someone who has only been in the office once and seemed to genuinely care about how I was doing.
Though I won’t be seeing Dr. Estrada again, as I go to the location in Chapel Hill, I would highly recommend her as a regular dentist or for tooth extractions. I had an excellent experience both with her and the office staff.
