Time Warner Cable

We don’t even have time warner cable buy live off Morrisville parkway and they were in our yard to lay fiber optics. However they «impacted our line» and we haven’t had internet for two days. Which is hard since my fiancé works from home. We called time warner and after being transferred 8 times and on hold for 45 minutes they said there was nothing they could do because we have uverse. Time warner has the worst costumer service and when you make a mistake fix it. From this point on you will not being going in my yard. If you can’t help me why should I help you.

Worst internet and cable provider out there! We are constantly losing connection and the WiFi is so slow! Just lost internet for the 12^th time in 6 months. Can’t wait for Google fiber or any better provider to come to the area… Wouldn’t consider staying with TWC for a minute.

There is No customer service — not even close to providing even a minimal effort to assist the customer with a different cable plan. There are far too many options out there for a company like this to just sit by and let existing customers leave and go to Dish or Hulu etc. I guess if they don’t care about customer service to provide any customer service, then I will have to drop them and go with DIsh network. Sad very sad. Someone needs to teach the employees of TWC about customer assistance !

I dislike Time Warner Cable, they cut my internet and TV off before I moved and told me they could not reconnect it until the next day. Don’t worry about it, I will return my equipment tomorrow.
This is a review for the actual store location, I have been here before and it was torturous. But, this past time I was pretty impressed. It is always going to be hit or miss depending on the day with this type of business.
— When you walk in you grab a number, there were 10 people ahead of me so i was worried

–Once your number is called, walk up and handle your business
I gave this two stars because I only was in there for about 15 minutes. They were understanding and I returned my equipment with ease.

I would rather be stuck in a cage with Sasquatch after he was picked on by people that had Jack Link’s Beef Jerky, than deal with anyone from this company.
TWC is always going out on me at the worst possible moments. And when this happens, which is WAY too often, the customer service is nearly nonexistent. Once you finish waiting forever; wether it be on the phone or in the office, the people that you end up talking to are the most ignorant, apathetic people you could come across. Do yourself a BIG favor and run in the opposite direction of this company if you’re interested in cable. As for this store in particular, if you are one of the unfortunate ones that they have hooked choose another location.

Terrible cable service, terrible location to drop off equipment– so happy we now have Direct TV. Goodbye cable

Dealing with this company will make you lose the will to live… Countless hours I have wasted on the phone with their representatives.

Overcrowded and understaffed. A simple return is looking like a 2 hour wait. It’s like a parting kick in the face for dropping the horrible service twc provides.

This is easily the worst run retail location I have ever seen in the entire state of North Carolina.
When your equipment fails you get to go get tortured at this office. The people are nice but the experience here is very poor for several reasons:
— There is no air conditioning vent in the front room. Really?
— Lines get gigantic. To keep people off of the sidewalk they just added 4 rows of chairs.
— The wait is very long. Instead of hiring more employees they added a ticket machine, so you can grab a ticket and wait.
— If you go around lunch the wait is easily over an hour and a half, so if your TV remove breaks, plan on just calling in sick to work for the day. That or just spare yourself and buy one on eBay.
If I were Time Warner I would fix these problems, fire whoever is in charge of this office, and apologize for letting this glaring problem exist for years.

Cary location on a Saturday is only open for a few hours and they never have enough staff. took 1 hour to just swap out a cable box.

It would be hard to imagine a company that had worse customer service than TWC — they appear to simply not care about customers — maybe having a partial monopoly service does that. Long story short TWC double my cable rates because I DID NOT plug a phone into my modem service — thus «voiding» the triple play special rate. Worse is the 4 separate calls — the last for just under 2 hours — to try and resolve and of course they never seem to have records of the prior calls. Working on call #5 now with each worse than the last. You have to wonder who if anyone is listening to these «calls being recorded for quality purposes» And they wonder why everyone hates cable…

You would think that by now, these time Warner locations would employ an equipment return-​only line. I sat in this location today for about 45 minutes before I ran out of time to wait. I can’t wait until Google Fiber arrives. Waste of my time.

While my husband left here Dec 26 refusing to wait in a huge line, I went back on a Tuesday afternoon only to wait for a few minutes. All my questions were answer and box exchanged without a hitch.
If you time it right, you won’t have any problems!

Saturday morning at 11:30. Trying to return a cable card. Over 70 people waiting with 2 super slow clerks working the counter. Sad that I am spending three hours on a Saturday doing this but on the bright side, this will be the last time I have to deal with this awful company.

Cancelled our cable because I realized you can get WAY cheaper. So I had to return our equipment. All I needed to do was drop off the box and remote. 1 minute process right? WRONG!
I got there and there was 26 people in line in front of me! I waited close to an hour to drop off a cable box. There were actually o free chairs when I arrived so I sat on the floor for that hour.
Just reminds me why Im glad to rid myself of Time Warner once and for all! If you need to return your stuff, good luck!

Had two broken boxes and after about twenty minutes I was back in the car heading to the house. I spent more time driving to and from.

Please God, PLEASE send another Internet Service Provider to Apex!
Time Warner’s service is awful, unreliable and unpredictable. I’ve lost count how many times we have had to swap devices. Their cable TV service is even WORSE if you can believe that!
The only reason we stay with them is because they have a MONOPOLY on high speed (50+ Mbps) Internet access in the area.
The MOMENT we can switch we will. Hello Google Fiber, you have new customers waiting for you!!!

This place is worse than the DMV. 20+ people siting around losing time in their lives while two customer service reps creep along. The wait time is well over an hour. Why does anyone in their right mind buy cable service from this god-​awful company? Oh, that’s right, they’ve got a monopoly in many areas, and where they don’t the alternatives aren’t much better. If you call customer service you get a bad connection to some guy sitting in a sweat shop in the Philippines. He is very polite but doesn’t know s**t from shinola. If you ask him a simple question he will put you on hold for five minutes while he asks someone else the answer. There are over 10 million Americans out of work and these jamokes at TWC are sending their jobs overseas.
Unless you have no other choice, don’t use TWC. They SUCK royally. Ask anyone…

Time Warner is a thief all the way. With all the money they charge their huge customer base, they have only one clerk servings customers in this Cary location. This a workday and people have work to do but instead have to wait in the stupid line with one person serving!!! Glad this is my last week on this service. Moving to U-​verse!!!

I sit here stewing in a pool of my own psychic pain. Twc has too few customer service agents, monstrous lines, and no desire to create a process that prevents people from needlessly waiting for incredibly long periods of time to return cable equipment. The few agents that they have are apathetic, overwhelmed and slow– would you like more fidgeting with computers and systems? Occasionally an elderly person will exclaim aloud while wAiting for the second hour to simply Return some device. People wait with children who Are clearly hungry, elderly people sit confused by the ticketing system, obese customers lay in anguish over cushion deprived seats. The feeling here is utterly Soviet in kind and sort.
My entire experience– from receiving my devices and using them– to trying to return them– has been marked by pain and horror. I hate this company, this store, all of the devices, their monopoly upon the region, the swollen and apathetic customer service, the inexcusably poor quality of the digital network as well as, sadly, the rabid lifeless décor in this awful waiting room. Ironically, the twc waiting room from which I write this is steaming depressing news stories mostly about local murders. It all seems sadly apropos.
