Torrid

Great store with friendly staff. I wish I lived closer.

I had seen Torrid’s clothes online for sometime and always thought they were cute, however when you’re fluffy knowing if something is going to look right on you is a huge guessing game, and ordering something and paying for shipping to return it? Uh, yeah, no thanks. So i must say i was very excited to see Torrid nestled in between Ulta and Honeybaked ham in cary.
There is a major problem with plus size clothes. Often they either look too trasy/​hussie, or they look like grandma. I think Torrid is a good middle road. For those of use who are professionals by day and want to be fun by night without looking trashy, there are a lot of great options here. Prices are still along the same lines as what you’ll find in most plus size stores (read price-​y), however the quality of what you get is very good. Staff are extremely friendly and there is a HUGE selection here. AND YOU CAN RETURN/​EXCHANGE STUFF THAT YOU BOUGHT ONLINE IN STORE… ROCK.ON.
If you’re looking for an alternative to the current plus size clothes options, i strongly recommend coming in to Torrid. Sizes start at 12 and go through 28. Happy shopping and dressing!
