I decided while in Cashmere… I’ll go apple cider tasting! I came upon the Cashmere Cider Mill and sampled some absolutely delicious, home-made apple cider! The lady who assisted me with my sampling was knowledgeable about the ciders and was interesting to talk with. I felt like I had a genuine conversation with her about life while sampling iced cold, fresh cider. Of course I bought a few bottles of different ciders to have shipped to my parents in Florida. And before I left, I had a few photos taken of me while at the cider mill. I’m glad I stopped by!

Awful service, promised a bottle of cider and I had to go and ask about it. Took a half hour to get in because they didn’t send an email confirmation with the room key like PROMISED. No one was there at all, just the other people staying there, it said that they would check in on us, never once saw anyone other than the lady working the cider shop, when she tried to call someone about our room key no one answered. Supposedly there was free Wi-Fi but never had the password for that as they were all locked. Absolute garbage

You must come here for the apple butter milkshake. It is worth the drive(all three hours of it!). The cider tasting is fun too and we bought a few bottles to bring as hostess gifts for weekend brunch.

After driving into Cashmere(aka Pleasantville, WA), I started seeing signs all over the place for cider tasting. I’m glad I followed them! You drive through a few apple and pear orchards to end up at this warehouse-esque building about a mile outside the town. This is a really cool hidden spot, unassuming and worth the drive. Inside there is a large room with high ceilings and a balcony. Lots of tables and space for people to browse. It has a nice rustic feel; chalkboard menus, old wood, cool art. The cider is non-alcoholic, but you can sample some hard cider in the adjacent little barn for only $ 3/person. But the NA cider is delicious. They’ve got pear and raspberry and huckleberry, all fresh and rich. A free tasting of about 5 flavors. They serve food, sandwiches and salads, and they also fresh apple pie and other desserts. Next time I’m in town, I’m going to try the Apple Butter milkshake. I’m kicking myself for not getting it this time!

We followed the signs from the Applets and Cottletes Factory out to the Cashmere Cider Mill, We were greeted and asked if we wanted to do a cider tasting, with our daughter and her 2 kids with us, the answer was«Of Course». The ciders were good, but my simple taste was for the plain old cider that they make. We were also looking for lunch, but they were not open for lunches. They could only do milkshakes and apple pie. The young woman told us about Snapdragon Café which uses their ciders(and we found out later is owned by her mom). We bought several bottles of their excellent cider to take along, plus I bought a piece of Apple Pie to take along for my dessert which we were told they would be more than happy to warm up at Snapdragon. Excellent cider, very friendly staff, you can’t go wrong to stop here. The only minus is they are out of cell phone range for my cell phone carrier so I couldn’t do a Unilocal Checkin — but to be fair, that is not their problem

For the price I was shocked to learn that the apples were laden with pesticides like nearly every other apple in Chelan County :( The store was nice and the cider tasting was enjoyable.

Fresh ciders, jams, baked good, and even a spot to stay if you need one. We enjoyed the cider tasting and left with a few bottles to take home with us. Definitely worth a visit. Follow the signs as this is a solid 10 minutes from downtown. There are quite a few turns to get here, but worth it.

Wanting to experience the finer culinary fruits the region dubbed the«Apple Capital of the World,» I sought a fine apple-oriented restaurant in Wenatchee or the surrounding area, but none were apparent or adequately advertised. Fortunately, I saw the ad for this cider mill in the tourist insert of the Wenatchee paper. I participated in a Lady Blush cider tasting with several different kinds of artisan cider and enjoyed each one. I also had an apple butter milkshake that was excellent. The cider tasting room also has a nice apple country store with a vast assortment of jams, jellies, and other regionally relevant confections. If you are visiting the greater Wenatchee-Cashmere area and wish to taste some classy apple products, then this hidden gem(follow the signs to «Cider Mill») should top your list of places to visit.
