It’s nice my mom loves it the employees seem cold, my mom bought a ceramic fish the cashiers didn’t greet us didn’t wrap it than threw it on the counter in a plastic bag. People who don’t love there job either need to do better or quit. If she had broke the fish my would had said something. Cold very cold

Went in yesterday… yellow tags are half off. I went to the counter with two sweaters and one buttoned up shirt. The sweaters didn’t have any tags on them, and really weren’t heavy enough with this upcoming cold weather. The woman said she remembered putting them out on the sales floor herself, and they we. rent yellow tags.

We scheduled a pickup at our house for a working stove and microwave. We bought new appliances. We also had a large and small bookcase to pickup. The items were heavy, but I managed to move everything out of the garage for pickup. The Salvation Army driver never came. I had to move all the heavy items back in the garage. I called to ask what happened. The schedule for the pickup was there but the driver didn’t come. I decided to try Waste Management. They arrived to pick up the items just like they promised. I’m so happy I didn’t have to move everything back into the garage. Thank you Waste Management!

The prices are kind of high for a thrift store. I can never find anything really good at this location. I tend to find better buys at Goodwill’s or offbrand privately owned thrift stores. I am glad that this thrift store is providing jobs to people but sometimes I do think they could choose to employ those people that actually would reflect an attitude that shows a little appreciation for having a job. The last couple times I have visited this thrift store the people at the cash register act like I am an inconvenience. They seem to really not want to be there, which is too bad because they are taking a position in a job over other people who would be happy to have any job.

This is a huge location for a thrift store. Lots of clothing. I didn’t really get to check out the whole store. I was here for a brown sport coat for a Halloween costume. Even though I bought something, I really couldn’t find exactly what I wanted, but I was being picky. I ran into a friend, also shopping for Halloween, who did find exactly what he wanted. Otherwise, it’s basically like other thrift stores. Not much costumer service. Substandard bathrooms. Only 1 Men’s and Women’s dressing room. Some mirrors if trying on something like a jacket. Maybe I’ll have better luck next time.

This Salvation Army is located off of 436/Semoran in Casselberry just North/West of the Howell Branch stoplight. It offers a large store and separate drop off location. I’m reviewing the donation end of the operation, which we’ve used quite a bit over the years. To make a donation, you drive up to the smaller building to the right of the store. A staff member greets you and unloads your car taking a general inventory of what you are donating. They record your basic personal information on that sheet and you have a receipt for your tax purposes. Please remember to donate only usable items in good shape, household items, clothing, office supplies and furniture. On our last trip, the car in front of us was loaded down with old Christmas decorations and they were turned away, but that might be because it was after Christmas. The donation drop was open on New Years Eve much later than the store. Nice staff and a quick process, even if there are a few cars in front of you.

Meh. Thats my feeling about this location, I donate frequently and when I ask for paperwork showcasing what I’ve donated I’ve sometimes gotten a cold shoulder about my request. Let not discuss how rude some of the donation drop off people can be at time, you could be over the top nice to them and they won’t even crack a smile or even say a word to you. The store is large, its variety is great for various needs, but is limited in regards to athletic wear etc. Honestly, I prefer to drive out of my way to Goodwill than go to this Salvation Army location.

Great deals; I only wish this place was open on Sundays as well! On Wednesday’s, clothing is 50% off. Every week, certain colored tags are also 50% off on clothing and«bric and brac» items.
