Ordered take out for the office. Amazing. They provide everything and the service was perfect. The food is always great but of you want to food for an office party. Call them!!!

I absolutely love this location. I will go past others to come here. The staff is fantastic, and the food is always perfect. The GM and Assistant manager are so nice and helpful. & I don’t know his name, but the new young hire that is always running circles around the store is fantastic! Always super helpful!!!

Loved your attentiveness and great costumer service. Definitely above average. You guys are always nice :) especially the guy (maybe the manager? Wore a black polo).
I’m not much of a fan for the food (just not my type of Spanish food) but you win me over on customer service.

First of all, I was there 30 mins before the closing time for a ToGo order, so do keep that in kind before reading the rest of the review.
I am a huge fan of Taco Tuesdays and tijuana flats. Been to numerous Tflats but my experience at this Tflats was dissapointing and non satisfactory. The server/​hostess looked like she hated her life and wanted to quit. No smile or welcome. In fact, she had a grumpy face and annoyance in her attitude. The tacos were soggy (note, it’s a 5 min drive to my house, hence «togo» should not a reason for it) and we’re half empty. I have been to other Tflats a minute before closing time and have had better service. I do believe that it may be due to closing time and hence I will definitely give them another shot. But keep in mind, DO NOT GO HERE 30 MINS BEFORE CLOSING TIME, the servers will crush you with their horrifying stares.
P. s. the manager did approach us with a pleasant smile.

Great restaurant! Always have excellent service and the food is great! The staff is really friendly and if I want T Flats I go to this location.

Love T Flats! You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. I crave it all the time which is bad since I only live a mile away from the restaurant. I’m always telling people to go there.:)

Came here for Taco Tuesday. The food was great. Refills kept coming. The staff was attentive.

We love Tijuana Flats! especially taco tuesdays! food is always consistently good the black bean chimichanga is the size of a house!

For fast Tex-​Mex on the cheap, you can beat TFlats! I am a fan of their Smack My Sweet A** and Call Me Sally sauce, that is always a given during every visit.
We generally order online in advance and go through the pick up lane to bring our meal home to eat. Most times, if there is a car in front of us, waiting and waiting and waiting on their food… while we can see our food sitting there and waiting for us, we have to continue sitting there and wait. Yesterday, the server actually paid attention and asked the other car to pull forward. We were amazed! We actually got our food home while it was mostly still warm. However, don’t bother ordering double anything (like double black beans), if you take it to go — you will never get it. Not once out of 7 times. We finally stopped ordering it and paying the extra $ 2 but thought we would give that another try last night and once again we were duped. If you order it when in the restaurant, you are good, but never through call-​ahead where you don’t actually open up your order to make sure it’s there.
Taste wise — most everything tastes the same to us, since it’s all made with the same basic ingredients. We do tend to order black bean nachos, a chicken burrito, and a chicken/​black bean burrito along with chips and queso. The seasoning on their chips, when there is enough seasoning, is so good! It may be just salt and pepper, but it makes the chip. Recently I ordered a norrito bowl, which according to their website’s nutritional info it comes with pico, chives, and guac However when you order online, none of that is listed on the norrito when you order it — so I got home and it had no pico or chives, but had the normal toppings + guac. Not sure why that is, but I assume it’s an error in their ordering system. Still it tasted great and was enough to last me for 2 meals.

My boss took us to dinner last night. Every thing was Great, and G.G. bartender/​server was AWESOME! Can’t wait to go back…

I remember the old days as a UCF student when there were only a handful of Tijuana Flats. In about ten years, this chain has grown tremendously! Now there are four different Tijuana Flats within minutes of our house and I’ve been to each location. The only negative I have to the chain is that depending on who makes your taco, sometimes the meat portion on the taco is a little skimpy. Aside from that, I really enjoy it, particularly the following things:
— Food and ingredients — While tacos are not the healthiest thing in the world, it sure satisfies cravings for salty and crunchy food. The blackened chicken rocks and surprisingly the salad here is very good and comes with a scoop of guacamole (bonus!).
— Quick service and friendly staff — The line usually moves fast and the staff are around frequently to refill drinks at your table.
— Sauce bar — Who doesn’t enjoy getting your hands sticky and drowning your taco in delicious hot sauce?
— Specials — aside from the well-​known Taco Tuesday, joining the email group will give you updates on local food and drink specials and occasional coupons

I’m a fan of Tijuana Flats overall. This location, and it pains me to write this since it is the closest to my house, is my least favorite. My order has been incorrect on several occasions, I’ve been served cold food, and they skimp on fillings. I usually go out of my way to the Aloma Avenue location now.
I have hope that it will improve and I am sure I will still occasionally visit this location when I am feeling lazy. I promise to update this review if the situation improves.

I went to eat dinner here last night with some friends. The food is always on point and we decided to eat outside on their patio. There were two tables that had dogs with them so they are pet friendly. They even brought out a water bowl and treats to the dog outside. The only complaint I have is about the lack of trash receptacles outside and even inside. I couldn’t find any so I left everything on the table. The waiters took long to check on us and clear our plates. But we enjoyed our time there and food. Will go back!

Here’s an update to my review… Brandy B. contacted me on 2÷5÷2015 and left me the same private message here on Unilocal,that she posted at the bottom of my review.
In addition she asked me to provide my personal email address so we could discuss this situation. However I responded here on Unilocal that I didn’t feel that was necessary and that any communication could be done here on Unilocal via private message.
I never heard back from her. However I’m not surprised. In fact it’s exactly what I would expect from an out of touch owner (her title on Unilocal for this Tijuana Flats location). I gave her a chance, and waited for 8 days for a response, but heard nothing back from her.
In addition since I left my original review, I was hungry for some Tijuana Flats… so I drove right past this location (Casselberry) and drove a few miles out of my way and visited the Altamonte Springs location… and let me tell you. NIGHT AND DAY DIFFERENCE! The staff there was very friendly and courteous and didn’t make me feel awkward at any point. In addition to the food being excellent, the staff came to my table 4 different times to check on our table to provide refills or anything else we needed. It was a stark difference to the Casselberry location.
I will never set foot in the Casselberry location again!
I’d also like to point out there’s another review for this Tijuana Flats location here on Unilocal where a woman describes the staff having inappropriate conversation. There was no response to that review from Brandy B. She probably doesn’t read these very thoroughly. Exactly what I would expect from someone who would hire the types of people that work at her location. Plenty of other options for Mexican food in Central FL including the Flats down the street!

I like this location because you can sit outside and I love having a beer with my taco. We usually get tacos, a salad or enchiladas. The staff is nice and friendly — and when the wind blew and an umbrella and it landed on me they felt bad and gave us free beer. And whoever came up with the cookie dough flautas should get a raise!
The food is typically fresh — there have been a few times I have been less than thrilled — I find that when you go after 9:30 PM they are less accommodating since they want to close up and go home. I get that — BUT you are OPEN until 10 so suck it up. And since the late night dining in the area is slim pickings it would be nice if they were open later — at least on the weekends.
We recently ordered chimichangas to go and they were inedible. Since we were at home and it was after they closed before we discovered the soggy greasy mess we went without dinner. I took it back the next day and the manager on duty was like a deer caught in the headlights he didn’t really know what to do since «he didn’t work last night». I thought that was an odd response.
I am sure I will continue to go back, maybe not as much as I used to. The quality of the food is not consistent.

I went here for the first time about a week ago, and it was okay.
The location/​décor is nice. This location had a very chill atmosphere where you can bring your friends or your family.
The best thing about Tijuana Flats is their sauce bar: they have a huge selection of different sauces, ranging from sweet to extremely hot (apparently one of their sauces has ghost chili peppers in it… yikes!). The people working there were really nice, and the food came quickly.
But then we get to why I gave this restuarant a ²⁄₅. This is because of the food itself. The food is pretty bland and very simple, something that you can easily make at home rather than go out and order it. I got the 2 tacos and the side of «nachos” — notice that I used quotation marks. The side of «nachos» that comes with almost every order are just bland, not fresh tortilla chips with NOTHING on top. They dont put any cheese or veggies on top– just… chips. If you want something on your nachos, they charge you a dollar or so extra for equally bland, melted cheese.
My older brother described it best: the only reason why you’d ever go is for their sauces. That’s it. It’s literally no wonder that they have a wide selection of sauces; their food is boring! The only way I’d go back is to buy a bottle of one of their sauces.

I love the Tijuana Flats because they have fresh great tasting Tex-​Mex food, but I love the Casselberry location because it has the best service! Very quick to make your food and the servers are very polite. We always see Lauren and she is genuinely friendly; always smiling!

I ate here again last night for dinner. I got 2 hard tacos, one black bean and the other refried beans. They were delicious! Crunchy, fresh, mouth watering. Sweet tea was right on par as well.
My complaint — a group of employees (2 girls and a guy in their late teens/​early 20s) sat at the booth behind me (on break I assume) and the conversation went from annoying to down right inappropriate. I did not need to hear about this girl who works there’s problem with latex condoms and how they make her burn. Completely inappropriate to be having that conversation in the dining room, especially when there were lots of small children around and people trying to eat. Management needs to pay more attention.
This is the third or fourth time I’ve had this happen with their employees hanging out in the dining room while on break, but the first time I almost lost my appetite from it.
