Looks nice from the outside, but not very well maintained (signage falling down, stairs to greens rotting, weeds growing). Very open course where you often find yourself waiting for people on other holes or even cart paths going through your fairway.

This course has changed through the years.
I moved to Boston for awhile, and when I came back, I found that the course had grown an infestation of condos and tract homes. The course has changed from it’s original layout, and is now a little less forgiving. Hole #6 on the front nine puts you almost directly into someone’s front yard. Like most economy golf courses in WV, there isn’t much separation between holes, and it feels a little open.
Otherwise, it is maintained fairly well. I usually make it out there every few weeks during the summer. Wouldn’t pay to be a member, though.

Great course and super friendly staff. I always try to get in a round when I come into town for WVU football games.

Horrible condition… Don’t play till its fixed. You are almost better off to go and play in the dirt.
