Baskin-Robbins

This review is for 04/​01/​2011. It has been a warm couple days in SoCal. I have lost 63 – 65 pounds and I am still working my way to a healthier Ryan and faster life. I deserve a treat once-​in-​a-​while and it was either buy a sandwich or get a sweet treat. Baskin-​Robbins-​Castaic, here I come.
The location of this Baskin-​Robbins is on the lot where the Burger King/​Chase/​Rite Aid/Ralph’s are located. I was surprised to see a Baskin-​Robbins last year, but I forgot that Castaic Lake is nearby and the heat can be unbearable. I arrived around 12:20 and there were no customers inside. It was a warm Friday, but not as hot as Thursday.
There are about 5 – 8 tables if you decide to eat inside. I was greeted by a Indian lady who was rearranging the ice cream bins. I haven’t been to an ice cream place in awhile, but of course, ice cream has a ton of fat. I had to order a Small Mint Chocolate Chip Shake ($ 3.99). Yeah, its nothing fancy, but its one of my favorite flavors. Oh, if you must know… The calories are about 680. Its Ice Cream… What do you expect?!
I talked with the lady while she was preparing my order and she told me it was SUPER-​BUSY on Thursday which explained why she was rearranging the ice cream bins. We had a nice chat about the rain and warm weather. I gave her a $ 1 tip for just chatting with me. This location accepts credit cards with no fees unless Baskin Robbins changed that many years ago.
Well, my celebration is over for now. My body is building itself to my skeletal structure. I think I can lift cars now… lol. I’ll try to write as many reviews as I can until then… My diet is the Captain of my vessel.
