I can’t wait until Spring comes back and I can enjoy one of Chef Kara’s fish tacos, deep fried haddock or a lobster roll while looking out at the beautiful view of Castine Harbor from the docks just outside this great restaurant!

Great options for vegetarians. Food is a little pricy, but the quality was excellent. Would definitely return.

Definitely a ‘cut above’ shoreside seafood shack! With only one visit under our belt, we couldn’t sample the whole menu, but what we had was stellar. We had the ‘Proper Chippy’ and a curry lobster roll. The batter on the very-fresh haddock had that crispy-thin delightfulness that I’ve only found in the UK. Fries were hand-cut and done just right. A super nice touch was the mushy peas, which may be a bit foreign to New England tastes but really smoky and delicious! My wife had the curry lobster roll and loved it; «perfect, subtle curry flavor, not overpowering; nicely toasted bun, generous and fresh lobster portion». Can’t beat the location on the dock and the rest of the menu looks pretty great; we’ll be back next time we’re downeast in Castine.

Can’t beat the view right on the dock in downtown Castine, but it is pricey for what you get. It cost $ 45 w/for 2 salads, drinks and tip. We got one salad with lobster topping, and while it was fresh, there wasn’t much on it. Went intending to get the fish taco but they were all out of fish. Am not a meat eater, so I’d only go back to try the fish tacos. Appreciated that they source local lettuce, tomatoes, chutney, etc and have sriracha on hand!
