Great beer — great atmosphere. Hubby is a frequent visitor. I would go more often if they offered wine. Yes, I’m aware they are a brewery but I can only drink one or two at most before I get filled up. It’s a great social atmosphere — especially for guys. Sorry ladies — but every time I go — I am usually the only female — with the exception of staff. Who by the way, are great! Dog friendly — food trucks most nights.

First off, I’m a beer snob and know a thing or two about beer. This new startup is as good as it gets for a brewery in this state with excellent types of beers from all genres. No matter what you order here, you can’t go wrong. It certainly helps that the owners make you feel like family and are not pretentious like some others up north. If you are in the area, this is a must stop. You won’t regret it!

This is a GREAT new place in the Castle Rock area. Different food trucks bring in yummy food daily, the beer is brewed right there, and is excellent, they swap out recipes and brews so there is always something new. They have guest brews as well. The atmosphere is super clean and friendly, even little rug rats & a dog near the front were hanging out the day I stopped by and had a flight. The bathrooms are clean. The walls themselves are art. And, the no tip policy is interesting… UBER numbers are on the chalk board, plasmas play sports and visual fun, and the seating is open.

So glad the CR finally has a great brewery! We have been to this place 2 times since they have opened(many more visits to come!) and both times, we felt like this place was perfect! Both the service and beers were phenomenal. We ordered two flights to try almost all the beers and wow were we impressed! We would have happily drank every beer that was on the flights. Plus, they allow your dog to come inside! Huge plus. There was also a food truck/stand that was great both times we went

Excellent Brews! Great variety, today they had 10 different brews plus one guest tap. I had the IPA followed by a Northern English Brown and topped off with the Squirrel Nut Sipper. BBQ was being served by The Calhoun’s BBQ. Pulled pork sandwich was delicious. Nice to have another great alternative watering hole.

Great atmosphere and incredible beers. The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. They can 32oz beers to take home, which is a really unique touch. While I was here Lantebrau Casa was catering and they were a great addition to the experience, with an amazing flavor. Definitely recommend and will definitely be back.

Great addition to Castle Rock and the metro Denver breweries. The people brewing here are serious about beer and it shows. I had been hearing these guys were coming but didn’t manage to make it in on their first month of brewing. Got here today and was not disappointed. They have a good selection and a great attitude. Not being an IPA fan I was not super interested in that but did try it nonetheless and was surprised it was tasty. I managed to taste what was on tap today which included the lemon eye(a citrusy wheat that is very drinkable) the saison, reisling saison, and English mild(one of my favorites today.) I followed it with the quadrephinia which was good, the blonde(can’t go wrong) and the red ale as well as the coal train porter(which is a winner in my book). Staff is very friendly and accommodating. I will be back if not just for the coolest canning process available for your take away beer. Stop in. These guys are going somewhere. Not to mention the food truck today(Cheffin’s was orgasmic!)

Awesome local nano brewery, fantastic beer and the Brewers are the bartenders, so an expert suggestion is close at hand. Coal train porter and the IPA were both delicious. Can’t wait to try the rest of the menu.

Nice New place. Great beers. Saison & sour beer was absolutely delicious! Being a newer place they are experimental, which is exciting knowing something new & inventive could be available at anytime when we show up. Serious talent and I see this place going far and hopefully expanding in the future. Although no food service is here, there seems to be a great smelling food truck outside most of the time. So don’t let the no food hold you back. You’ll most likely be able to get something here. Overall a great place to visit. Friendly & knowledgable staff. No tipping policy, and great prices! Check this place out!

Simply put, too cool for sleepy little Castle Rock. Wow is all I can say. If you like beer and a mellow good vibe, this is the place for you. Probably what Avery was like 10 years ago.

So glad to have this amazing brewery close to home. These folks are in it for the right reasons. You really can’t do wrong with anything on the menu.

It’s so great to have a new craft brewery in Castle Rock. 105 West Brewing has been making great beers since day one, and we’ve already paid them several visits. The beers we’ve had have been great. Their Pale Ale, IPA, Session IPA and Jelly’s Double IPA are all incredible if you like your beers nice & hoppy. On the other end of the spectrum I really love their Berliner Weisse, which is good with or without the syrup they offer on the side. Bonus: There is almost always a food truck or vendor serving up something delicious to pair with your beers. I’m a big fan!

When I learned that 105 W was in the works, I was pretty excited considering the wealth of knowledge that was going into this establishment. Not only were some passionate folks getting together to make this place become a reality, but they were very calculated in their approach. Just looking at the set up, you can tell that care was put into every detail. We arrived on opening day to an impressive tap selection, with various styles available to fit any palette. My first venture was a coffee brown made with locally roasted coffee. It wasn’t harsh or astringent, and I liked it so much I got two crowlers(32oz cans) to go. They were also serving the dry stout on nitro, and the coal train porter may become my go to beverage. My husband appreciates a solid IPA, and the options here don’t disappoint. A double IPA was tapped this week that made him, dare I say, giddy. Though go to beverages are a must, I appreciate that there are other options to try that are equally delicious. My dark beer needs are completely fulfilled, but the berliner weisse is a great option for something lighter with a nice tart kick. These guys aren’t hesitating to try new things, which means I’ll never have a shortage of new beers to order. Thankfully, they use software that posts a live beer list on their site, so I always know what I’m getting into. Another selling point is that this is a no tip establishment. Any cash received above and beyond your bill is donated to a charity of the month(posted on a board behind the bar). You can satisfy your beer itch and give a boost to charity — not bad in a day’s work. If you’re in the area, don’t let this place off your radar. It has a big future!

It is very rare to see anyone give a 5-Star rating on Unilocal!these days. It seems we all can find some flaw or room for improvement. 105 West is a total exception! From the large selection of true craft beer(3IPA/Pales when I went) to the welcoming tap room to the gratuity free structure, 105 West has hit a home run for Colorado beer lovers! Their care for customers is as clear as the quality of the beers. They even have a 32 oz. to go can that is filled with your choice and sealed in front of your eyes. It doesn’t get any fresher than that and saves keeping a growler in your car. My last visit had a hot dog vendor that was great! This place is worth the trip, be it 5 min or an hour.

I must say, for a brewery that just started, these guys are off to a great start! Beers here are craft beers made in small batches, which explains why they’re tapping new beers all day long! This is also a place where everyone that works there brews beer! So, if you can corner somebody tending bar, they actually talk about what/how their batches were brewed — so unique for those of us that actually brew beer! Oh, almost forgot about the food trucks — great food with great hospitality! Can’t wait to go back!

The beer was as tasty as the crying babies were annoying. Yes, I said«babies» … plural. This is the newest Castle Rock brewery. It is easy to find, being just a couple blocks west of I-25 off of Wolfsenberger Road. I had the Berliner Weisse with blueberry syrup on the side. It was rather good. I also sampled the Reisling Saison and Red Ale, and I enjoyed them both. Prices were a touch higher than I am used to, but they have been creeping up elsewhere. I liked how they repurposed the barrel parts for furnishings. They also have a no tipping policy here and are raising money for a Veteran’s Memorial, so it is hard to fault them for that. Anyway, the next time you’re trekking southward, take a brief detour off of the interstate and stop by.
