4 stars for the service! I enjoyed my experience as it was clean, fast and tasty! A couple of things to be aware of: worst location on the planet. Very hard to get to from the highway. Also, the computer tablet at the tables where you pay are a little fickle and not any faster than paying your server.

Too bad you can’t leave zero stars. I failed to read the previous reviews before I picked this place. It took the server 10 minutes to return with the waters. Then 2 of our three entrees came out… and the 3rd after another 10 minutes. The service said it was because he wanted to bring things out when they were hot. And that was the last we saw of him. Glad we can pay at the table.

The wife and I walked in here last Friday and we were put on the waiting list. I told the greeter we would walk to the bar and get a drink while we waited for a table and she said«I’m not sure we allow that«…wow. After I ignored her and got my drink, I noticed they had 15(no kidding), open tables. I went back to the greeter and asked her why they had 20 people waiting to be seated when they had open seating for 50, and she said«the kitchen is behind so we can’t seat people and take food orders». Meanwhile, they turned away other walk ins with their 30 minute wait. Fast forward to getting a table and we spent $ 80 on a medium rare steak delivered well done and some shrimp the wife ordered that were below microwave quality. Hey Applebee’s…don’t insult us. Seat us and tell us the kitchen is behind. I might actually have a beer and not stand at the door wishing I had gone to Union. Oh, and get a chef.

Very average food. Dirty glasses. The plastic mugs had built up grime on the bottom. They served our appetizer without serving plates. Our server(Lauren) was very polite however her fellow server was a bit rude.

The reason I like Applebee’s is that I travel a lot… the food, service, and restaurants are virtual copies of one another — usually good. This location needs some help… service was bad. Cleanliness was bad… Food was delivered by staff member who did not know the dishes or salads… we had to pick our own and send the ones back that weren’t ours. Waiter did not check-in after the food was delivered. We had to flag down the hostess to ask for refills on our drinks… again to get to-go boxes… and a 3rd time to ask for the bill. Never been in an Applebee’s this empty on a Sunday for lunch. When we left, we looked around and saw almost every empty table had leftover food & dishes. The table next to us had food & dirty dishes the whole time we were there… about 90 minutes. We noticed signs out front hiring all positions… I’d recommend passing on this location of Applebee’s until they get their sh! t together. Red Robin’s is across the highway.

Ordered burger no pink. Guess what’s? Lots of pink. Sent it back. They sent out the same cut in half burger. Probably had been microwaved. What restaurant does this? Insisted on fresh burger. When we spoke to manager she says people are usually in a hurry and just want it heated. They would not be in such a hurry if they weren’t so slow in the first place.

Love me some Applebee’s! I come here with friends, family, and sometimes for a relaxed date nite with the hubby quite frequently. The food is always excellent! Our last waiter sucked though! He never smiled, not once. He put our napkins down for drinks and asked how we all were. After we answered we kindly asked in return. He says OK. Well my friend at the table asks«just ok?» And he said yes, and he’s not allowed to discuss it! Well no kidding! The boss doesn’t want u talking about any ounce of it, so either go home or set ur personal problems aside. He was a drrraaaag!!! I wanted to report him to management, but others at the table was worried he got dumped or something sad like that. Regardless, I want to feel welcomed at a place I’m paying for my meal, not feel like I’m a burden to ask for additional ranch dressing. If it happens again, I’m talking to management or requesting another server and filing a complaint.

Service was bad — luckily they have the iPad things Food was just glorified fast food. Very small portions. I haven’t been to an Applebee’s in a long time. Probably will never go again after this experience.

Tonight the service was absolutely horrible. We arrived a little after 9 so there weren’t many people in the restaurant. Meaning: we should have fast service, right? Well, this wasn’t the case. Our waitress was seen standing around(talking and hanging out with other staff) multiple times when we needed a refill or had an issue with our food — we practically had to flag her over. I ordered the boneless wings and they first came out with the wrong sauce — not a big deal, mistakes happen and she told us she would have new ones made. She didn’t, however, tell us we would be paying for both sets of wings. So the table split the wings that originally came out while we waited for the correct ones to come out. When the bill comes around(at this point our waitress is no where to be seen) I see we have been charged for two sets of wings. Another girl, who isn’t our waitress, comes to check if we know how to use the pay machine. I point out the wing issue to her so she gets the manager. The manager then tells me I technically ate the incorrect wings so I need to pay for them. Really? I need to pay for a mistake that isn’t my fault? Fine. But know I will never be returning to an Applebee’s ever again. And from the looks of it, many people are noticing how much the customer service is lacking. We could also here the manager and the waitress saying so not-so-nice things about us on our way out.

Friendly server. Very slow service all around though. She didn’t have a good handle on her 5 tables which I can understand but my experience was poor. Food was all brought out at once instead of appetizers first. The apps had obviously sat under a heat lamp for quite some time. Food was average for the family restaurant standard. I won’t be excited to return but will again due to convenient location.

Super impressed with the revamp. Been here before and it was meh. Now the new menu and new staff are a refreshing sight to see. We will definitely be putting this in the regular rotation now! If you’ve been before and not impressed, give it another chance!

Ordered online for carside pickup tonight and I was extremely disappointed. I sat in the parking lot for 10 minutes before I was brought someone else’s order, no big deal, mistakes happen. I get home and neither of the quesadilla burgers I ordered had bacon, pico, or mexi-ranch sauce on them. I was served 2 $ 10 pieces of meat with lettuce and cheese on a tortilla. We subbed sweet potato fries for an extra dollar with one of the burgers, and for our dollar we received roughly 10 sweet potato fries. I don’t think we’ll be going to this Applebee’s again.

The worst absolutely WORST false advertising ever and the photos on the menu are 100 untruthful. We would have complained to the manager but we were graciously treated to dinner and did not want to be rude. Sat, Mar 21, 2015, my husband and I ordered the Kobe beef meatballs and the nachos. Both small plates were ZERO in appearance and worse in taste. Who in Cr can mess up a Mexican dish? I now know Applebee’s can. One star because of the kind wait person. Really — the worst eating out experience since we have lived in CR — never never never again.

Ugh. You hope when you go to a chain restaurant that you’ll get at least their standard good service. The restaurant was dead. There were two girls seated at booth two from the door and one person at the bar when we got here. We were having a later lunch so we didn’t expect it to be packed by any means and to be honest this location is a little weird to get to. The hostess walked as far as the first booth to seat us. No biggie but it seemed like she didn’t want to go too far. Our waiter, Matt M greeted us as if he’d just had a death in the family. I really hope he was ok, but he was less than happy about being there for sure. We noticed the two women at booth two seemed to get the friendly server. I think his name may have been Chuck, he was pleasant and answered a lot of questions for them. Matt took our drink order and came back with our chips and salsa and bevvies. We needed a couple more minutes to peruse the menu which he gave us. We all ordered from the lunch combo menu. I think they may have had to call in a cook, it took that long for our order. THe food looked good when it arrived and actually wasn’t too bad. Way too much dressing on my Thai Shrimp salad, same as the wedge and the chicken Caesar. Matt never checked on us once after the food arrived. Thank God for the option to pay your bill at the table or we still might be there. Skip this chain next time. Thankfully there are many other restaurants nearby!

Minus one star for incorrectly adding an unwanted and unlisted smear of a mayo-based dressing to my sandwich, minus another for letting me sit in my vehicle at the Curbside2Go location as my food warmed under the lamps inside(I called. Them: «Oh, we don’t have anyone to bring them outside.» The food was a bit soggy from the wait. Finally, minus another star because I had to drive back down to get my order corrected. Rocket science it’s not, but stop it with the mayo(you nasties, you). Update: The manager called and made attempts to make things right. I respect that. One star added.

Had to ask for our drinks, 15 minutes after the appetizer came. Waiter took a glass to refill and it never came back at all. Food came an hour after ordering and my order went missing. I had time to create a Unilocal account and leave this review while watching my family eat. Food never came. Waited 20 minutes for the check after asking. Manager never came after I asked to speak to him. Go elsewhere.

OK, Ill just walk you through our night and let you make your own evaluation. My one star tells you what I think. We have been here MANY times, and its never good. This time was awful though. We arrived later in the evening, about 8:00. We asked to sit in the bar area and took a seat outside the bar but in the confines of the«bar area.» We sat for what seemed like eternity before being greeted by a server who walked quickly by us and said, «sorry, Ill be right with you.» Of course this was already ten minutes in, and it was ten minutes till he was right with us. He did eventually get«right with us» and we ordered drinks. Those drinks would not get right with us for a long time. The server brought waters and took our order, I ordered riblets and fries and my wife ordered some chicken dish and broccoli, well steamed. We got our drinks about 5 minutes after we ordered. Then we had food appear at our table. UM, it wasnt ours, we let them know delicately. As we were enjoying our beverages, food arrived at our table again… Again, it wasnt ours. Do these people have any clue what they are doing? Minutes turned to hours and hours to decades when we finally received our food. Remember that well steamed broccoli? It was cold. My riblets? Wrong sauce and not sure if there was really any on it. Let dig in though shall we… NOPE, no silver ware. Easy enough, we told our server we sure could use utensils and he was happy to oblige… ok not really, he said he would get some, but after watching him talk to two other tables after leaving us, I got up and got silverware off another table so that we could eat. So now here we were eating our cold, sauceless food for a while, but now we were out of drinks. Our astute server came by and asked if we would like more. We said yes and he disappeared off to the wild to brew our beers from scratch as though he knew it would take forever. Ten minutes later, we could see our order sitting on the printer at the bar just waiting to be filled as the bartender was doing dishes, sending texts, writing a novel and all other things that making drinks. My wife actually got up and asked the bartender if he could make the drinks that were on his printer so that we may get ours. He seemed mad we interrupted his routine. Now that we are 470 hours into our meal, our server finally brought our drinks that we ordered, and waited for and asked the bartender to make finally. At the same time he was delivering our drinks, I picked up a bite of food that had a nice hair in it… He asked, «Is everything ok?»… Actually no it isnt at all… My wife complained about her cold hard broccoli and asked for mashed potatoes instead. I stayed quiet… 1minute later 5 minutes later 10 minutes later OKENOUGH! Manger, time to get involved. Food sucks, service sucks, hair in food, slow service, cold food… still havent gotten mash potatoes, I can name the issue… Manager was as polite, and understanding as could be. Comped the meal and drinks. She was great. She is new to this restaurant. I am not sure I can ever go back though. Ive had it up to my ears with this place. If I have to go one way, avoid this place.

I’ll admit, I don’t visit Applebee’s much. I love new places, I tend to avoid chain restaurants, so Applebee’s doesn’t often come up when we’re picking a place to eat. But with a location near us, sometimes you end up there. Sometimes you just want something quick, easy, comfortable and reliable. That’s Applebees to me. The irony is that whenever we go, the food is good, the staff is great, and the bar is super fun. It’s almost always busy at our local Castle Rock Applebees. It feels as though it’s a real local hangout. And I can get why — because everyone is so friendly. We usually aim for the bar where you get free chips & salsa. The beers are good and cheap, and the food is always pretty good. My favorites are the burgers and the Chicken Fajita Rollup sandwich. I love that I can not visit Applebees for years, but when I come back that Chicken Rollup is just as good as ever. Last time we visited they had live trivia, and it was a blast. I guess I need to rethink Applebees, and maybe quit being such a food snob and visit more. I don’t know that I’ll ever be a regular, but I am happy that the ‘Bee is there for me when I need them to be.

The last time I came here was for a karaōke event. It was only okay. The songs that were available were not great. The drinks were watery. The food was greasy. Meh. I haven’t been back.
