Shane installed nanny cameras and an oven lock in my home. They work great and he was a pleasure to work with. He went above and beyond to get to know my family and provide us with the best possible child safety items. Highly recommend.

I would highly recommend working with Shane at Child Safe. We originally were going to use another company, but after several interactions they were pushy and rude to deal with. We then reached out to Shane and he was extremely professional and did a great job with the installation.

We recently had Shane come out to inspect our home and baby proof! Highly recommend for first-​time parents or anyone who would like the job done well. He did a very thorough inspection of our whole house and included safety items that can sometimes be overlooked but are very important to have functioning (fire extinguishers, smoke detectors, etc.). He installed door locks, a baby gate, and plexi-​glass (I think that is the material?) on our bannister and I feel so much better about letting my little 9 mo run around. He also re-​hung a mirror in her room for free after he saw that it was not hung very well (my doing). Highly recommend! We will most likely have him come back out to do more as soon as she gets into more things.

In July 2015, Shane McNulty, owner of Child Safe, LLC came to our home and did a full detailed inspection of our home for child proofing needs and found a lot of safety issues we never thought about. His home inspections are $ 150 and worth every penny. The inspection lasted 3.5 hrs and included all aspects of the inside and outside. There’s no obligation to use his company for install but his rates are great. Had a heavy 2 part hutch that he secured together and then used metal straps to secure to the wall. Total cost was only $ 36, and they currently have a $ 25 off any installation. I will be having him come back to do the rest of the installations too. He is ex-​law enforcement so he has witnessed plenty of child injuries from unsafe items in the home and great at knowing what to look for. He was friendly, informative and very helpful with advice on how to make easy fixes that work. He sends a detailed email of his findings as well as walking through the home with you and explaining as he goes.

Today, Shane with Child Safe came out again, squeezing us into his already busy schedule, and installing anti-​tip brackets to 5 heavy furniture items, screwing down 1 tall doll house, and attaching a very top heavy hockey table with wall brackets. I feel very lucky to have found this company who is knowledgeable with child safety. I am extremely pleased with the quality work performed and a whole lot less stressed knowing that my home is that much safer for my wild 2 year old. I am glad we went ahead and installed the anti-​tip brackets so we can be one less statistic of child death from a dresser. I highly recommend Shane and his company Child Safe, LLC. Shane did an amazing job child proofing our home. I had spend over an hour on the phone with him just learning about the products/​services as well as learning about safety hazards, he was very informative. When Shane came to do the installation he was very personable and efficient. I will definitely have Shane do some more baby proofing in the future. We do feel a lot better about the safety of our daughter now that Shane has gone through and baby proofed it; so far he has installed a baby gate, door stoppers, closet fasteners, power strip container, locks on the cabinets, and fastened furniture to the walls. Shane has been an excellent help and we appreciate the work he has done to make our home safe for our little girl.

We just moved to town and had a really hard time finding someone to help us child proof our place. After being referred to Child Safe and Shane through my local Right Start store, I reached out and received a response and very reasonable quote shortly after. We had a VERY positive experience with Shane and would highly recommend him and his company to any parents looking to make their place safer for their kids. Shane at Child Safe did an amazing job child-​proofing our home. My wife and I learned so much in our initial consultation with him — including some things we were worried about that weren’t actually a big deal, and many places that needed child-​proofing that we hadn’t even considered.
After that great initial meeting, Shane childproofed almost our entire home, including building some custom gates for our stairs. He really went the extra mile to make sure that we were happy and everything he installed fit into our goals and needs for our home. He has been great about following up, and even stopped by months later for a quick fix to a smoke detector that he’d installed.

We spent all summer researching for someone to do some safety work at our house. The stuff available locally in chain stores was all inferior quality junk that we’ve had nothing but bad experiences with. We just happened to spot the Child Safe truck in our neighborhood and spoke with Shane (owner) for a couple minutes. He set us up for an appointment the following day (a Sunday!) and we were immediately impressed.
Shane runs an outstanding personal business as a rock-​solid professional. He did outstanding work in and around our house ensuring the safety of our family. Our little ones can be a handful, and even with ²⁴⁄₇ supervision, they manage to get into an impressive amount of trouble. Shane’s company was the only one of it’s kind in the area and was head and shoulders above any other company in Denver we contacted, and we couldn’t be happier with his work!
On the day of work, he showed up 15 minutes early and got right to it. Very friendly and knowledgeable, he answered all our questions without making us feel like they were stupid questions (they were), and we really felt like we got more than our money’s worth for A+ service at the best possible price.
