My girlfriend and I recently moved from«the city»(Denver cough) to castle rock. We absolutely love CR and Danielle’s was another great added surprise. The mood is relaxed, the staff and bar tenders are a lot of fun and the food is very good. The prices are also very competitive and maybe even a bit of a bargain compared to what you would get in Denver. The owner is engaging which always gives me a great feeling when a business owner is making sure he is «watching the store». The back patio is also beautiful. If your looking for a nice evening in the city of CR, I would highly recommend Danielle’s. Heck, just stop in and have a glass of red wine… during the summer months, it’s tough to beat. We love it there!

I wanted to take my wife for a nice birthday dinner and, because of the good reviews, we chose Danielle’s. It wasn’t horrible but it wasn’t really great either. The wait staff were friendly and nice. We chose the raspberry jalapeño vodka lemonade and loved it. We shared an arugula fig salad and it was ok. My wife had the lobster mac and cheese and expected it to be better. I had the Eggplant parmesan and it was good — not great. We shared a raspberry cheesecake — again, ok but not great. For the cost, we expected better food. We may or may not try again.

We had a wonderful dinner last night at Danielle’s with some friends from Spain. I’m so happy to have discovered this place. Our server was attentive but not overbearing, and was very knowledgeable about the menu and the wines. We started with the calamari and the caprese appetizer. As a vegetarian, I didn’t try the calamari, but the others exclaimed how wonderful it was. We were skeptical about ordering it, as our friends have exceptional calamari where they are from. So that was great start! The caprese was very good, but so very small, especially for the price(2 small pieces of buffalo mozarella on 2 smallish tomato slices). We tried the truffled pasta(mine without the sausage), the teriyaki salmon, and the sirloin steak. Again, everyone loved their selections. My truffled pasta was just delicious — so flavorable! Vinny, the owner, came over and visited with us for a bit. He is friendly, funny, and seems like just a great guy! He should be very proud of his establishment! We will definitely be back — I’m thrilled to have discovered this place, and to have another wonderful place to dine in Castle Rock!

One of the best dinners My family has had in a long time. The server was great and very knowledgeable. The establishment has a great atmosphere and the live musician was a perfect addition. The swordfish stake I had was cooked perfectly and that is very rare here in Colorado. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

I love this place! It was previously«The Social» that consistently disappointed me. I kept returning, HOPING to find improved food and service, because I liked the vibe inside the restaurant so much. It has a calmness about it, even when it’s busy. Danielle is perfect for happy hour on the patio, a business dinner, a casual night out with the family, or a dressed up romantic dinner with your significant other. I am SO delighted this place has re-opened as Danielle’s and was SO pleasantly surprised to find it was is now under new local ownership with much better service and wonderful– WONDERFUL food. My 17 year old daughter, who is one of the biggest food critics I know, LOVES their hamburgers and I fell in love with their seasonal Chicken Parmesiana. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed with this place whatever your reason for stopping by. Just take note that their hours are, as of this review, limited to after 4:00 p.m. and if it’s a Friday or Saturday, reservations may be a good idea. And on a SIDE– Side note– if you reserve a table, reserve a booth. Their booths are quiet and comfortable. My daughter and I are quickly becoming regulars here. If you live anywhere in the south Denver area, no need to go into busy downtown Denver for a lovely meal. Trust me, zip down to the Happy Canyon exit of 25 and try Danielle’s. You’ll be happy you did! ;-)

Our group recently had dinner at Danielle’s and the decision was unanimous — We can’t wait to go back! Everything on the menu looked tempting and all dishes ordered were absolutely perfect and delicious. The service was terrific — Of all prior restaurant endeavors in this space, it seems that Danielle’s has the recipe right!

My husband and I ventured here for an infrequent night away from the kids. The atmosphere is lovely and the service was great. However, although the short ribs were tender and tasty, I wasn’t blown away by either the quality of the ingredients or the presentation especially given the price point. My husband felt the same about the pork ribs he tried.

We had a hard time finding this place(west happy canyon road, need the west part) but it was totally worth the hunt. The restaurant was very open and welcoming and the food was excellent. My friend and I both had fish and it was so fresh and delicious. Highly recommend this place.

I recently was able to visit Danielle’s in Castle Pines for dinner. Lets just say i will continue going there in the future. I had the pleasure of talking with Vinny the owner of Danielle’s who is such a delight. This place had the feeling of being at home. Family dining with five star quality food. I was able to try the premium pork chop with scalloped potatoes, chicken fried chicken on a bed of mashed potatoes with bourbon gravy, mozzarella ball with grilled butter bread, and muscles flown in from the ocean of Maine. They have a fresh fish market, where each day there is different fish from different costs of the US. The feeling after eating is great because you have eaten a real home style cooked meal. The prices are great because what you pay for is quality. If you are ever out shopping in Castle Rock this is the best place to to stop and end your night. Such a pleasant drive as well.(will post pictures soon)

The food seems to get better each time I go here. Admittedly, the pricing is a little higher than my average restaurant experience, but this is definitely my new go to for a nice evening out. I took my girlfriend here for Valentines Day, and I couldn’t be more pleased. The service was impeccable, and the wait staff highly attentive. And, oh my God — the food. She ordered a Sea Bass which was pretty good(and I despise seafood). I ordered the prime rib, and it was damn near a religious experience. I’m pretty sure I lost some friends and colleagues in the following days as I droned on and on about how good it was.

So glad Danielle’s has come along, after 10 years of disappointment in this space. Muscles, fried chicken(me) and short rib(wife) were all excellent, all perfectly seasoned. Service was very good. Will definitely be returning!

A group of friends and I gathered recently at this restaurant for a private party. It is such a lovely location with an exterior patio overlooking a stream. For our cocktail-hour party, we were provided tasty meatball and sausage dishes, crostini, and perfectly baked brownies. There was also a fruit plate with a beautiful arrangement of six or seven different types of fruit. The wine was delicious and thanks to the very friendly manager, Richard, my glass never made it to empty before it was refilled with a warm smile. Upscale yet welcoming was exactly what we were hoping for, and that’s what we got at Danielle’s.

A beautiful restaurant with a tantalizing menu! We celebrated the holiday there and it was a fabulous experience. There were 6 of us who each ordered something different so we got to try a large sampling of all the delicious foods. I truly enjoyed the truffle pasta, the pork chops and the lasagna! I enjoyed the wine selection as well! I can’t wait to return!

Very good food Wife had Braised Short Ribs — heard they are the best dish here. I had rigatoni and meatballs. Very filling and perfect size. Service is good — not the absolute greatest. Wine and beer list are diverse.

Really happy with our first visit. Richard was awesome and the service was great. Had the crab cakes, mussels, and a few other apps along with the filet. All were very good. There have been a few trys in this place over the years — this one seems to have what it needs to make it work.

Not sure this place is going to make it which is too bad since Italian seafood is one of our favorites and Castle Pines needs more good restaurants. The sausage appetizer was two cut ends on some tomato paste! The service was just ok for an empty place and it’s pricy for what you get.

I went to Danielle’s tonight and must say I was very pleasantly surprised. As people in the area know, this reastaurant space had had several turnovers in the past 5 years. First, they new owner has painted and made some changes to the interior. The result is a warmer, more friendly feel than before. He still needs to get rid of the ugly orange bar stools at the bar. However there have been a lot of nice chances, including some upholstered chairs and an improved entrance. I had a salad and the crab cake appetizer for dinner. The crab cakes were excellent, with nice subtle accompaniments. they were full of lumps of crab with very little filler. There was a nice selection of wine by the glass. Wait staff was attentive, without being overbearing. If you are I the area, or live nearby, Danielle’s should be given a try!
