Freakin’ amazing! Very knowledgeable and fair priced. Even let me try a vintage gun. Well worth the drive! Will be back without a doubt!

Great range and great staff. I went there with a groupon as a first time shooter. They offered great instruction that was informative and by the end I felt completely comfortable shooting myself.

Stopped in to check out some suppressors. As I was checking them out in the case, Andrew came over to ask if I had any questions. I told him what I was thinking about and he help guide me to my final choice. He actually paid attention to what I was saying I wanted in the suppressor. He didn’t just tell me to buy the expensive one. I had lots of questions about each one and he answered all of them. Now to play the waiting game but at least they have a range to use it on-site.

Had high hopes for this place and was actually prepared to buy a membership but unfortunately decided against it because they do not allow shotguns. Evidently some folks could not follow the rules and, in the words of the staff, «a few ruined it for all». I have to admit I hate that attitude because you should always punish the offenders rather than hold it against everyone. I understand the reasoning and the safety concerns but again I don’t like punishing everyone for the sins of a few. In the end I just could not justify a membership if I am unable to train on all the firearms I own. The retail store selection and staff are top-notch tho. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Facilities are nice and clean. if you are not wanting to shoot shotguns you can’t go wrong checking them out. Rental gun selection is amazing and this is a good place to go to «try before you buy». Also, the membership for military members is a vey good deal right now.

GREATRANGE!!! Good selection of new and used guns. My only issue was some of the counter guys are not as knowledgeable as the others. I consigned and sold a tavor through them. The fee is very reasonable, but I had to wait for 30 days for the check — Not complaining, just wish it was told upfront. I failed to read the fine print — no biggie. I will be back soon! Keep up the great work.

Bought a membership at DCF Guns today. Nice people, nice place; in fact it’s cleaner and nicer than many stores in a good mall. The selection of guns available for members to use on the range is superb. Ammo prices are great(and with my former military status I get 10% off as well). The in stock selection or firearms is awesome(including a fully pimped, gold Desert Eagle). The range is great too. Now I can shoot in all weather – about five minutes from home. Everyone I talked to at DCF Guns was knowledgeable and helpful. I’m impressed. The membership was an easy choice – especially with the 40% discount. It’s a steep price for the initial sign up without that today. Chris

We received excellent guidance and instruction! We had never handled guns and Erin got us shooting in one lesson! They offer a wide variety of choices and offer the opportunity to try diffenernt guns before purchasing. Can’t wait to keep improving!

Love, Love LOVE this place. I shoot there, take classes, and have bought weapons and ammo and accessories there. The people are friendly and helpful. No one tries to just sell a weapon, they want you to be happy. Wednesdays women shoot free but it’s worth the money to just join and shoot anytime you want – you won’t be sorry. It’s great when people know your name.

I can’t say anything bad about DCF. My wife and I bought memberships in July and have been satisfied with our visits there. The staff is very knowledgeable and provides excellent hospitality. I had the opportunity to take my CCW class there and was very impressed with the content and the Sim Tech simulator. Erin, DCF’s lead instructor was very knowledgeable and provided feedback to all when we did the simulated shooting and live fire. Most recently I rented out the range after close when family was in town over the Thanksgiving holiday. I was referred to Josh, the owner to work out scheduling. Once I emailed him I received a timely reply and we worked out the logistics. It ended up being 11 of us and we had a great time! We ended up renting a couple of their automatic weapons in addition to what we brought. DCF has a plethora of firearms for rental, you will not be disappointed! As for the range, it is probably the nicest and cleanest range I have ever shot at. If you are looking for a great place to shoot, this is the place!

I never saw a gun up close until I was 19 years old and, even then, it was unloaded. Many users later, I married a gun owner. Like most responsible gun owners, my husband wanted me to learn to shoot the guns kept in the house, so I gave it a try. Over the years, I’ve gone to several different ranges and gun stores and always left feeling worse than I did going in. Eventually, I was so defeated by the machismo men who treated me like I was just a stupid little woman that I just stopped going. My husband continued searching for a place that I would feel comfortable and came upon DCF. He convinced me to just go into the store(a big feat for me) and check it out. Right away, the cleanliness and good lighting made me feel a little more at ease. Everyone who we’ve met there has been welcoming and VERY respectful of me and my needs. No one has ever judged my inexperience or anxiety. Today I worked up the nerve to try shooting there and it was great! For the first time ever I was able to shoot the target and actually enjoyed myself. I can’t thank DCF enough for making me feel comfortable enough to help me begin to overcome my fears.

Dropped my Beretta O/U off to have the recoil pad replaced. They told me it would be a month or so since their current gunsmith was on the way out and a new one coming into their shop. No problem, I told them they could keep the shotgun until it was completed, I was in no hurry. 2.5 months later I received a VM stating I could pick my shotgun up, but they were unable to put a new recoil pad on, and the charge would be $ 35 for«research». I arrived at the shop and asked for an explanation. It turns out they did not have to proper equipment to complete the task — a grinder/sander. I asked why it took 2.5 months to figure this out and got nothing but crickets. They did however waive the $ 35 research fee, again, no one had any idea why the fee would be charged without the job being completed. On the flip side, everyone has always been pleasant and knowledgable regarding their inventory. But geez, for something like this to slip through the cracks is unacceptable when we are dealing with firearms.

I will start this by saying yes, I’m female. Yes, I wear stilettos and don’t look like I came straight from the mountains. But don’t let my exterior fool you. I am a born and raised Alaskan who shot my first big game at the age of nine. My dad was an arms dealer & taxidermist before deciding to join the fire dept. I am also an avid fisherman. I moved to Colorado in January and had some of my dad’s friends tell me about this store. I went in once and was treated beyond poorly. Nobody wanted to talk to me nor help. When I would go out of my way to approach they would completely disregard me, and not want to give me the time of day. Seriously, screw these guys. I would also like to note that the items I did manage to see were overpriced. Anyone who is willing to pay the prices they ask for certain accessories, or new/used guns is an idiot. But I suppose, that is their right. I now take my business elsewhere where it is actually appreciated.

I’ve been really happy dealing with DCF. I went down looking for a .22 for the kids to learn on and something for me to carry. Each time I was there the employees I dealt with were friendly and gave me tons of information. They have a great selection and even have a range at the store so I was able to rent and try some guns out. I finally settled on firearm(XDS9mm). I’m happy with the gun so far and was even happier when I got a call from DCF letting me know there was a recall — they gave me all the information I needed to be able to look up my gun and find out if I needed to send it back or not. I will definitely continue to visit DCF even though there a few other stores nearer to my house.

Best gun store in the Denver area. Decent prices, excellent customer service – even when ordering something they don’t have – a great selection and a decent range. They also always have ammo, though that’s a bit high in price. Overall, this is a great store that keeps me coming back.

I’ve purchased a few items from them before and was happy. I’ve also had an FFL transfer to/through them for a gun I purchased and that went flawlessly. Recently, I tried out the range for the first time and that too was a great experience. I’ve been to a few other local indoor ranges and the range here at DCFA was far from crowded. Their hourly rate is the same as the other ranges. Their proximity to where I live makes them my first choice when I want to go shooting indoors. A few items I have to criticize however are: — the targets can hang too low on the overhead supports, meaning that at certain distances or heights of shooters your rounds are hitting the floor instead of the back stops when you are aiming at the bottom half of the target so be sure to mount your targets high up on the cardboard frames. — the size of the targets they have for sale are 12″ x 18″(by Dirty Bird) which is ok for horsing around, but for a better more accurate«training experience» a realistic silhouette sized target(23″ x 45″) is preferred. If you prefer the larger more realistic targets it’s BYOT.
