My husband and I were looking to try yoga for the first time. We started with Bashia’s basic level yoga class and LOVED it! She did a wonderful job making sure that all the members in the class had a full understanding of how to begin creating a yoga practice that would work beat for each individual. She goes through the what and they why of the poses, building on what you’ve learned each week. Now that we’ve completed the basic level course, we cannot wait to join their all levels classes. *They even have nice, clean yoga mats to borrow while you’re there if you don’t already own one.

I have been attending Core Class twice a week at Inner Connections for about 8 years. It is a great mix of gentle stretches, core workout and challenging balance work on the ball. John, the instructor, is always upbeat and supportive and provides alternative movements for those who need them.

Inner Connections is a gem of a yoga studio! The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. I love that they offer a diversity of classes. I usually attend the flow and all level classes, but I can see how someone new to yoga or who prefers a gentle practice could easily find a niche at this studio. It is a very supportive environment that can make your day happier and healthier.

I am currently 36 weeks pregnant, new to castle rock and was hoping to join the 6 week prenatal yoga series to ease some of the late pregnancy fuuuuun and try to make some connections with some other prego mamas in the area! I called ahead to the studio who said they could work with me on the price of the class since I would possibly only make 4 out of the 6 because of my due date. There is also a large possibility I could have made all of them if I was late. They assured me that I could pay the full price of the series and get some sort of credit or something at the studio if baby boy came early which I thought was fair. Soooooo I went through the hassle of getting a form signed by my doc, arranged a babysitter for my 21 month old daughter just to have the instructor call me a couple hours before the class to say it was all or nothing and there would be no chance to recoup any unused classes. I would understand if they had a wait list or something like that but no other explanation was given. So If I only went to only 4 classes because I HAD A BABY(something you may expect in a prenatal class) I would be paying 20 $ per class or more if he comes early which is too high for me and unfair when they typically charge 13 $. I called to see if I could purchase a punch card or if there was anything they could do for me but I was turned down unapologetically(note they offer punch cards to women who have already been through the class once). So they would rather try to get me to pay an unreasonable amount then include a 36 wk pregnant woman in a class that would greatly benefit their client late in pregnancy(I did yoga during my first pregnancy until I was past due… What a difference it makes) that they would be teaching regardless with space to spare. Guess I will just go to a chain at least they have more integrity and are less greedy then this place who wouldn’t even work with someone who really wanted and needed to be apart of something in their community at a fair price. They would have had my business after baby too but oh well.

Right now is the time to try out this studio, the best in the Castle Rock/Castle Pines/Highlands Ranch ares. From now through January 31st, they are offering a discounted punch card for 10 classes that can be shared with a friend.(One person must be new to the studio.) Owners John and Jeanne Adams are trained at the Himalayan Institute and bring to their students a true, classic yoga style. More than that, their spirit of peace and healing trickles down to create an environment that welcomes, relaxes and heals. In addition of course, to adding flexibility and strength to each individual body according to its needs.
