Went 3 times in one week. Beer is beer and always good. The pizza is a bit greasy for me. Our third visit was the worse. After a hard days work we stopped in for a beer and food. We sat at the bar. Our bartender took our order came back with our food and tossed it down at us and walked away. My bread on the sandwich was burnt. My friends sandwich was flavorless. I ordered the chicken sandwich he ordered the cheesesteak. They made me another sandwich which was placing my ingredients into another roll, came back cold. My friend did not eat his. I was near the bottom of my beer and never asked if I’d like another while asking the lady next to me several questions. The manager took the cheesesteak off and 50% off the chicken sandwich. Our server never came back.

Don’t come with more than 6 friends! Hostess said the wait would be about 25 minutes. 40 minutes later after watching nearly 30 other people get seated I had to hunt down the hostess to find out what was going on and she estimated another 15 mins. We waited longer but finally ended up leaving.

The only good thing about this place is the beer. Food is subpar, never cooked the way you order it, and the service is terrible. What a joke. Super annoying

The beer selection is fantastic. Lots of craft as well as your traditional selection. The food is an A– Not bad at all but it does take a back seat to the beer selection. Several TV’s with the game of the day for viewing. The service is an 11 out of 10. I frequent restaurants and bars regularly because of the service. The experience with staff does not totally overcome terrible food but it can make average food into a great meal. Totally come here for your next«I don’t care where» response from the family. Very family friendly. Also, family owned. You can tell.

We had the chicken parmesan… meatballs and each had a drink. I thought it was great for $ 32.00! It was packed on a Wednesday night and it was our first time in. We will definitely be back as our service was great and it just had a good vibe. Forty beers on draft… How can you beat that if you love a cold brew.

Going down hill. I don’t know what’s going on at Parry’s, but they’re getting worse and worse. Ordered a pizza right off the menu, nothing special, and they got it wrong. Niccolo’s 2 miles away is better — at least they get the orders right.

I love parry’s pizza. I always get the garlic and pepperoni. Its perfect. I love the most how they put the garlic in. It cathes you by surprise cause you cant see it or find it. But you can smell it just slightly.

My family and I stopped in on a Friday early evening for dinner. I was craving their wings. We are a regular guest. I was worried that it may be crazy busy and was right. So we ordered a takeout order and hung out in the bar and had a beer while we waited. It took a reasonable time for our food to show up and we went home. I was so disappointed when we unpacked to food at home and found only half of our order. We live about 8 miles away from the restaurant. I picked up the phone with the intentions of holding my ground and having them bring the rest of my order to me. The phone was answered by a pleasant young man that was not able to handle the situation and asked me to hold for a minute. You can imaging I was not in the most pleasant mood considering the circumstances. A minute later a man picked up the phone and identified himself as the general manager, I believe his name was Mark. I did not have to retell my entire story to him he had already determined what the problem was from his staff and was 100% aware of what had occurred. He apologized did not make any excuses and asked me if it would be acceptable if he remade the food order and had one of his drivers bring it out to my house. LOL, well, that left me pretty speechless. I mean we all make mistakes and things happen, it is how we react after it happens that makes the difference. I told him that would be great and thanks for the great way he handled it. Ten minutes later Mark called me back to let me know the driver was on the way. 15 Minutes after that Mark called again and asked me if we had received the order and if everything was acceptable. The order was great and he had thrown in some extra goodies. He then went even further to make this inconvenience more acceptable by telling me he had discounted the entire bill by 50%. To the owners or Parry’s you are very lucky to have such a great manager that treats the place like it is his own and the customers with such respect. I am a customer that went home with only half my food and just gave you a 5 star review.

Love the calzones here and the very respectable beer selection on tap never disappoints! It’s always changing it up with great local and abroad choices, but this place earned a 5 tonight for above and beyond service for me. The wifi was acting up and manager Marc apologizes for the inconvenience ANDTHE, so as not to leave me hanging when I need to update my fantasy roster on my way too small data plan, sets up HIS phone as a personal hotspot for me! Good food, great beer, and a good man steering the ship tonight.

Most expensive greasy pizza I have ever tried. Love the beer selection however the pizza was just way too greasy. Also, what the heck is white ketchup? Never heard of it and it just sounds gross

We waited 10 minutes for our waiter to ask for our drinks. And that was only after the hostess tracked him down and told him we were waiting. A waitress ended up helping us when we needed waters, plates, etc. We waited 20 minutes for our check. Same waitress tracked our server down. He plopped the check down without a word. And another waitress had to bring our check back! 2 stars as beer selection, ambiance and food are good. Our service tonight may prevent our return. FYI: Stephen was our server. And the manager had no clue this guy was giving shoddy service to his tables. Service needs major work.

Straight up, Parry’s has some bomb ass real deal NY style pizza and delicious wings. They take second to Stumpy’s but have much better atmosphere and décor. The in house service is quite good. We have eaten inside the restaurant a couple times and thoroughly enjoyed it both times. We ordered once for takeout and once for delivery. Both times we ordered for takeout or delivery we were highly disappointed. When I came to pick up the order to go, I was rung up by a friendly lady and was told our pizza wasn’t ready yet so have a seat at the bar which I did. I waited for about 15 minutes, no big deal but expected it sooner since I had called in the order in advance. That didn’t bother me, what bothered me was that the bartender eventually had to go back into the kitchen to «check» on our order and retrieve our pizza which had obviously been sitting back there for a while because she returned immediately with an apologetic look on her face because even she could feel that it was barely warm, not hot at all. This annoyed me to be sure but whatever it’s still good pizza. However, when we ordered delivery, I made the mistake of ordering their Polo Grounds Parm Bites… As a pizza joint, how do you screw up bread? Hand make some dough, bake it and finish it with some butter, garlic, and parmesan and you have a winner. Pretty easy… Throw in a side of marinara and you’re golden. Well… not only did they not include any sauce but these things were just awful… Little pillows of dough dusted with parm(and I’m talking the Kraft green cylinder of processed parm here). They were so overtly dry that i took one bit and threw the entire container in the trash. When I called to inform them that they didn’t include sauce with the order, the manager flat out said with no small amount of attitude, «What would you like us to do?» Since having them come out for again just to deliver a side of sauce that I can no longer use or replying with«how about remove them from your menu» were not very constructive replies, I regretfully agreed to receive a complimentary Parm Bites appetizer the next time we never visit this place again. Maybe they can deliver them to us at Stumpy’s. Stumpy’s is where you can get the best damn garlic knots I’ve had in 30 years, better pizza than in NY and a burger with certified Angus Colorado beef that will take your breath away. At least Stumpy’s seems appropriately concerned with our experiences(dine-in, takeout, or delivery) as well as providing quality ingredients where everything is made in house. A novel concept I know… Parry’s can suck it. I don’t care how good your food is because if you can’t take care of your customers, no one else will know or care how good your food is either.

Tried this place once. Love it! Pizza is really tasty; better than the big pizza chains. Lots of beers on tap. This is what all neighborhood pizza joints should be. Good pizza: yep. Delivery: absolutely. 3 dollar beer specials: you betcha!

When Parry’s first opened in Castle Rock, I found it a great place to grab a couple slices of pizza for a reasonable price. We tried dinner there once, where everyone in the family ordered a separate dish — but none of us were impressed. We simply decided that if we go to a pizza place, eat the pizza. No big deal. But the past few times I’ve been in, the pizza has gotten worse and worse. So has service. Tonight, I dropped in(Tues @ 730) and ordered two slices. I paid my $ 7.50 and grabbed a booth. 15−20min later, I was still waiting for the meal. When I saw a group seating after me receiving their food, I walked up to the counter. Apparently my pizza had been sitting in a take-out bag on the counter for awhile. The server opened it, passed it to me and was a little surprised when I returned the pizza because it was cold. I asked them to nuke it or whatever and returned to my seat. Another 15min and no service. Finally decided to leave. I went to the counter and asked for my seven bucks back — I’d just go somewhere else to eat. Again they found my pizza on the counter and told me they were sorry I had to wait — they made a new pie. Great — I thought, that’s what I was hoping for. But that’s not what I got — I got the same two slices reheated(again) and they were stiff and dry. A miserable dining experience. Not to mention the idiots I was seated next to had a kid that kept burping without them correcting the behavior. I picked everything up and moved to another seat — choked down my overcooked, lousy pie and left. For me — this was the final straw. I’m done with Parry’s.

I don’t understand a bunch of these reviews… This place is great. We went to Parry’s on a Wednesday night and nearly everything was perfect. The highlights, fantastic beer selection, really good food, Tim the server was on top of it! Only knock we had, one of the meals came out as an appetizer. We will certainly come back for trivia and for their great beer selection in Castle Rock. Thanks for the great experience!

You are only as good as your weakest link. Unfortunately for Parry’s Pizza, that weakest link is the owner Dave Parry. Dave does not care about his employees nor does he care about his customers, and this philosophy carries throughout the entire business like a poisonous gas. As far as I can tell, he is just a greedy, no good, selfish, know it all guy. To ban customers(who are regulars) in your restaurant for expressing that the customer service has gone down hill in the last few months is absurd. To do it loudly and belligerently in front of all your customers is down right stupid. Then to follow that up with accusing your employees of stealing in public, is so beyond unprofessional, I can’t even begin to get into that.(What goes on with your employees should stay between you and your employees — not be announced loudly on the bar area filled with customers) just a small price of advice in case you read this. We used to go two to three times a week. Staff started quitting(and now I understand why) and the service has gone down hill. A new store manager was appointed. Considering that we go here several times a week, we have never met the guy, he has never stopped by to ask how things are. Not really a good store manager if you ask me. The food is generally good, but overpriced. The beer selection is great which is why we used to go frequently. I would not want any of my family or friends to go here. I will find a new local business to support that wants my business and will care for its customers.

Hmm, what can I say about this place. If you go when its slow, it may be three star. But I didnt. My wife and I went on a friday night. We were seated immediately but that was the only immediate thing that happened. We waited 20 minutes before asking a hostess if we could get some drinks.(I do have to say the hostess and manager were great once they knew we had been waiting so long) The hostess sent the waitress over and she took our drink order. Then after waiting another 10 minutes without drinks, we snagged the hostess again who was very helpful and got the manager to bring out our drinks since she was too young to serve alcohol. The manager brought our drinks and informed us that he was taking care of the meal and drinks for us. That was very nice of him, and he continually checked on us through out our dinner. I didnt have the nerve to complain about the food since it was going to be free. The pizza was lackluster at best, had minimal toppings, was greasy and overall distasteful. After this visit, I told my wife I would never go back, and I wont.

All that I can say to sum this up is «mehhh» I’ve been really wanting to try this place out because I love pizza and it looked fun. We went there on a Friday night and I just wasn’t impressed. We ordered wings– which were ok but I’ve had better, then I guess if you are really into beer you might like their brews but to me I’m pretty simple and just enjoy a bud light or blue moon with my pizza and they don’t carry these types of standard beers. We ordered a pepperoni pizza and it was just ok. NOTHING special — wont be back here.

I went to Parry’s for trivia night when my regular place was cancelled due to other events. We had a group of 5 and the first thing I noticed was how cramped the place was. We were seated at a booth that could only comfortably fit 2 normal-sized adults per side. Eventually(thankfully before our 5th person arrived) our waitress did bring over a chair to our table, but due to the layout of the place he was constantly moving his chair to get out of the way. As far as trivia goes, it was very hard to hear and it was only displayed on 1TV. The game was fun but if we were to play again I’d want to sit much closer to the host. Now, the worst(and most important) part of all: food and service. As I said we had a party of 5. One of the the things we ordered was the fried mozzarella($ 5.99). What came out was a basket of 3 half-moon pieces of breaded air. There was a small amount of cheese in each one but it was mostly air, at $ 2 per piece, I’d like something a little more substantial. Everyone’s meals came out at different times and one meal(a sandwich) only came out after we REPEATEDLY reminded our waitress about it. When it finally arrived(15 minutes after everyone else was finished eating), it was so hot that my friend had trouble eating it. On the plus side, the two members of our group who got salads did say they were decent. When our bill came, not only was there no kind of effort made to reconcile the bad service, but there was actually an extra drink on our bill that nobody had ordered. Basically, there was nothing here to compel me to return.
