This is a nice little hike in the area. Nothing too technical but I was able to get a good workout. This is located right behind the Meadows neighborhood. I thought it would be noisy and crowded, but it was actually very quiet and peaceful when I went over the weekend. It was only 21 degrees at the time so maybe the temps had something to do with very few people on the trail. There are nice views of the front range. Lots of willows but the trail itself is maintained so there’s no need for any willow-bashing unless you opt for off trail.

Great first mountain bike ride for my 16 year old daughter. All single track, nothing technical, some nice short climbs and drops. We all had smiles when we were done. Ill bet it could get hot in the summer but was great in May. We parked at Bison Park and jumped right on the trail.

Pretty cool new park. It has quite a few trails that create various circuits. There’s elevation drop and gain, trails that go out away from civilization, fun windy paths thru shrubs, and more. There’s also a race there. Nice job on this park. Also check out the ridge trail that heads south from the park across the road.

This hike or walk is absolutely gorgeous. You can jog along the front range and feel like you are on an amazing vacation right in town. This trail is unpaved which is great for a run or mountain biking. You have to keep an eye out for rattle snakes in the warmer months but it’s a small price to pay for all the great scenery. The dirt trail is great for outdoor lovers and their pets!
