The Pines At Castle Rock

I lived here for a year, the move in profess was a little flaky. The day before we moved in they tried to switch us to a more expensive apartment… But I argued with them and then they gave us an apartment for the amount of money we signed for.
While living there wasn’t too bad, their are a lot of people that leave dog poop on the grass… Sections of the grass flood all summer so if you step on it you are ankle deep in water. People below us player their music loud all night. But when I walked down and asked them to quiet it down they helped me out by doing so…
The move out is the reason I give it one star. I shampooed and clean the apartment top to bottom. I have asked them many of times about getting my deposit back. They keep saying they will call me back when they find out… Been 3 months I still call every week.
I now owe IREA $ 320 because after I disconnected it they told IREA that the bill should still be in my name. IREA told me to call the pines at castle rock and when I did the lady started yelling at me and told me I was lying then hung up the phone on me. I called back 3 days later to help her cool town and the same thing happened.
Overall they are just unprofessional, not willing to do anything to help out the residents… Oh and my AC took 2 months for them to get to, to fix. Aka by the end of the summer and when I moved out they fixed it lol.

I lived there 3 years. My apartment was quiet mostly until construction started and the train blared all hours of the night. And whenever the people below me shut their front door, the room shook. I felt safe though and left my door unlocked most of the time. The hallways are dirty and have cobwebs. No snow removal on the sidewalks. No ice removal in handicapped spots. Evicted renters get their belongings dumped in a parking space for everyone to rummage though. Their website is false in so many ways… «Enjoy a refreshing swim in one of our sparkling year-​round outdoor pools, or take in the mountain views while walking on our spacious grounds.» They are not year round pools. They are not heated and are like ice water. I have never seen them sparkling clean… If open they are green and cloudy. One was closed all summer because they accidently painted it with toxic paint. The grounds are pretty but at my building, there were weeds, mud, bad landscaping, dead patches. Kids running around wild with no supervision making a mess. The staff seemed nice enough but I think they are limited with 600+units to serve and allot of the tenants are plain nasty people who litter etc. I spent 3 weeks with no air conditioning due to a Freon shortage?. The rent is cheap but you get what you pay for. I’m paying much higher rent now and am grateful I can afford a nicer place. Also, My friends car was towed for expired plates. It was towed past Elitch downtown. Really? There isn’t a closer company to work with?
