My Place & Company-Schodack

This is a great little local bar. It has a great hometown feel to it. After a few weekly trivia nights, the waitress knew our beer order. I love the wings and Cajun steak fries.

Very nice neighborhood restaurant. Gorgeous outdoor bar & patio that is a frequent summer favorite for us. Vast menu selection ranging from pub style to full dinner choices. Bar and dining room are somewhat separate. The staff do an excellent job of catering to an after work crowd as well as families for dinner. It has been our experience that services is always fast and our food is always hot and exactly as we expected. Favorite snack of ours we order every time we visit is the chicken wings, they are unique and awesome.
If I could change anything it would be only a few minor tweaks. For one the outdoor bar in the summer needs to offer more up-​sell cocktails. The waiters need to be knowledgeable of these summer up-​sell drinks. The atmosphere is right for people to linger on the patio, now up-​sell me to spend more money. On occasion we have left the patio feeling rushed out and lacking that special summer flare. One other change would be to the deluxe burgers offered, as is today they are good but fresh ground beef in lieu of a frozen patty would really make a huge statement.
The consistent reliable track record this establishment has with us through the 10+ years we have had the pleasure to eat here speaks for itself. They are a favorite of ours and would highly recommend this place to all. It’s a great place to just grab a drink after work or grab a quick dinner with the family.

My place is a great restaurant to go to when you’re hungry. The food is always very reasonably priced and consistent quality. My favorites are the boneless wings with Frank’s red hot butter delicious. The Rubins are very good as is the turkey clubs. There is a bar in this restaurant and it appears to be a local hang out favorite. Sometimes gets a little loud but never been to too bad when we have been there in the dining room. They now have an outside seating area looks nice but I’ve never tried it. For good tasting consistent food at very reasonable prices this is a good place.

Locals love MyPlace & Co. Great «bar» type foods. We order from here at least twice a month. I personally love their fish fry. The bar features many beers on tap and mixed drinks are great as well. Service is always awesome and friendly.

We went to dinner there last week and we really liked it. There were a lot of choices and specials each might. Everything was awesome and so inexpensive. Two of us ate dinner, had an appetizer and my husband had a couple of beers and soda for me and on top if that I had a dessert to go. We had wings, he had a hot roast beef sandwich with mashed and a vegetable. I had a huge sandwich and soup. And I brought half the sandwich and dessert (which was great) home. All of that for less than $ 40.00. I think with a 20% tip it was more like $ 37.00.
It is a great place to sit back and relax and not break the bank. We really recommend this restaurant.

Just moved into the area and went there for dinner our first night. Sat inside because of high humidity, but went outside to see patio in back when we left. Looked like a great place to spend a summer night. Food was good, service and staff were very friendly. Beer was cold, but they could use a little more variety. We will definitely go back soon.

We came here to enjoy the outdoor patio complete with the gas fireplaces and historic photos on table. Fried clam rolls, poppers sandwiches are the fare. Service was fine. They have ribs and burgers and wings. Nothing fancy just hanging out.

I’ve been back a few times and the sandwiches are fresh and tasty. Nice place, It reminds me of the bar that I ate at growing up.

Was on a road trip staying in East Greenbush for the night and had a yearning for hot wings. Based on Unilocal reviews we stopped here… I had wings and mozzarella sticks and my daughter had a hot dog and fries. Everything hit the spot and was relatively cheap in price. Very casual bar atmosphere and good cold beer (for me). Great place to go for a good casual inexpensive meal.

Good food, awesomely cheap. Decent atmosphere, but sit away from the door in the winter time. It opens constantly and can get chilly. Soups are excellent, sandwiches aren’t fancy but are consistent and tasty. New patio out back is awesome. If you’re looking for a new local hangout, this is the place.

I come here pretty often. It’s a low key place that’s a neighborhood hangout. Down to earth, not spectacular food but inexpensive and good for what it is. The price of drinks is a little below average and made well. The best part of this place is the renovated back patio. They did a wonderful job with it as well as a new outdoor bar. Honestly it’s like you enter a different restaurant. They even have two large propane firepits for cooler nights. I highly recommend this place for a 3 season hangout. I’ll try to get some photos when spring comes to show off the patio.

I used to love My Place because the food was good. However, I will never go back after what I just saw! I was sitting at a table that had a view into the kitchen and I saw the cooks making the food without any gloves on. Literally wiping the sweat off their face and nose and touching everything! The lettuce, the sandwiches, grabbing fries without gloves on and placing them on plates. I was so disgusted I walked out of the restaurant. I will never be going back! I hope that place gets shut down.

I’m really quite fond of this place. Can’t speak for the booze, but the food is really good.
The menu has a huge selection of your typical bar food and American fare. Because prices are so low, my friends and I usually order a whole bunch of stuff to share or split. We’ve never been disappointed. I especially love the burgers, wraps, and appetizers.
It’s quick, good, cheap & the place is spacious, friendly & clean. Plus open till 2am on weekdays! I can’t ask for anything more. Except maybe a Brooklyn location.

Great road trip stop! Good for travelers who want real food. We all ordered steak salads that were tasty, and split some buffalo wings that were nice and crispy/​juicy. Our waitress was super nice and kept our dcokes filled. We ordered a lot and it was like $ 15/​person with tip. They have tons of daily specials too that looked good. We will be back!

One of my favorite places in schodack/​east greenbush! They have a decent menu and their prices are great! They specials on the board and they are always different! I’ve never had a bad meal and would recommend! Plus, they’re open late!

We have been going here since 2003 and have watched the gradual decline of the quality of the food, service, and cleanliness of the place. This weekend was officially the last time we will give them our business. We ordered takeout because we can no longer bring our children there based on the undesirable clientele at ALL hours of the day — not to mention the establishment is downright dirty. Got home only to discover that the order was inaccurate. When we called to ask for the correct order (and our children are already eating what we got because they are hungry) we were told to bring the original order back in and then we would get the rest. Unprofessional and poor customer service are the most polite comments I have for this place.

My Place has decent food and the price is right but for the amount of business this place does. and it gets packed… you think it could be a little cleaner.
Stained ceiling tiles looking like they are ready to fall down and bug collections in the globes of the lighting over the table are just a few of the things you notice right away…
I am not sure when the last time they had a real health inspection unless the inspection is very easy on local business. Anyway… it could be cleaner.

This place offers above average pub food with attentive and friendly service and a decent beer selection. The fish fries, macaroni salad, and burgers are pretty good. It’s a good place to stop for quick eats.
The only bad thing I can think of is that the front door opens right into the dining room so when it’s cold outside one might find themselves reaching for their jackets while dining.

As stated in another review good place for pub food and beer. Its more of a local hang out, kitchen is fast and efficient, wait staff is friendly, possible a little over friendly and sightly «off». The special was a hot roast beef and mash and gravy, very good home cook stapled that was just as good if homemade. My feelings is its good for what it is, quick food, pub staples and you can get in and out around 2pm.
