Met a group here and we did a little tasting. I personally do not drink but the comments everyone who was drinking raved about what they had. Cool atmosphere ! Very relaxing and the staff is very friendly.

As other reviewers stated, the staff is very friendly, and the wines are good. I enjoyed the hard cider quite a bit, too, not to mention the cheese plate(but cheese is always a winner in my book). Living in Albany, I think it’s great to have something like this nearby. I went with just my partner, but I think it would be fun in a small group too.

A friend and I met in Albany for the day and decided to try a wine tasting at Brookview Station Winery. This small, locally owned orchard/winery is off the beaten path, but worth stopping by. After arriving, we received a «tasting note» and each made our six selections. We had to wait a couple of minutes for a space to open up at the bar, but the staff member serving us was very honest and entertaining with his commentary. He ultimately allowed us to sample all of the wines on the sheet, in addition to three different hard ciders. The staff was very friendly and gave us suggestions for other wineries to visit(and a free pass to Hudson Chatham Winery). They sell all of their wines on site and although the majority are too sweet for my liking, I purchased a delicious dry, apple white wine to bring home. My only complaint is that they didn’t have enough of the pomegranate cider to sell, but they made it up to us with souvenir wine glasses. I definitely recommend showing support for this, and all, local wineries in NY state.

I had never heard of the winery until the recent Living Social Deal(wine tasting for two, plus cheese and souvenir wine glasses). Staff was very friendly, knowledge, and honest about. Very nice selection of wines and hard ciders.

A winery in Rensselaer County? My dream come true! Brookview Station Winery is tucked inside of Goold Orchard, home of excellent apple picking and delicious cider. They have a small but decent selection of wines made from apples, peaches, strawberries and cherries(to name a few). Their tasting is 6 $ for 6 wines and on top of the Brookview Station wines, you can also sample from a few Finger Lake wineries, making the selection quite large. All of the wines you can taste you can also buy on the premises. Brookview Station Winery is part of the new Hudson-Berkshire Wine Trail. Support your local New York wineries!
