Bonfare is a decent convenience store. I like how you can get any sized coffee for .79, but their $ 5 minimum on credit purchases kind of stings. Still, for a neighborhood market, you can do a lot worse.

I will NEVER ever set foot onto this place again. The store clerks(possibly the owners working as the clerks, because any employees would otherwise be fired) are rude, disrespectful, and deserves every bad review they have received. I thought my experience with them was isolated, but after reading the other reviews, it seems that is their usual MO. I’m not sure why they have such bad attitudes toward their customers? It seems they are very disgruntle, and this discontent is projected to unsuspecting patrons. Why? Whatever their issues are, they will no longer have my business. EVER.

I went here to buy chips and i was just looking and the clerk told me to hurry up and started yelling at me. This was in the middle of the day… Then when i went to buy it, he was super rude and told me to get out. I didnt even do anything bad. Just wanted my chips…

Very rude. Found a sale item that was cheaper than the lesser version of it. The clerk quickly switched their prices even though the price was determined by the UPC. I then told him his sale sign is incorrect and misleading, but he didn’t care. So I bought something else instead to avoid a hassle. My change due was $ 1.47. He quickly handed me my 47 cents then just stood there with a blank face for about 20 seconds as if the transaction had been completed. I told him he still owed me a dollar. So he just tosses a dollar coin onto the counter, which had been in his hand this whole time. Overall it is a convenient place, but the amount of rudeness displayed by the staff member easily lands this place 1 star.

It is nice to have a store to grab a quick item if you’re in a hurry. They are really rude in that store, so I actually try to avoid going there even if I am in a hurry I have to really think about whether I want to deal with the rudeness or drive alittle further. Good customer service is not what they are about and the prices are way too high for anything more than one item.

Don’t waste your time or money at this place. The inside has an odor and there are flys inside on the food. The prices are very high and the expiration dates on some foods are close to the current date or passed. Even though the usual grocery stores may take more time, the better quality and much better prices are worth it.

I’ve stopped here for snacky stuff and sodas. It’s your typical, «stop for something quick» place. I agree that I wouldn’t bet on any of the perishables, but great for chips or a coke. I’ve never bought the slurpee, but if they actually told me I had to replace a broken slurpee cup, I’d never shop there again. Tacky.

The only thing we go here for is slurpee’s. I hate that you have to buy the cup before you can get the slurpee and if you break your cup– you have to buy another.
