Chase Bank

Bankers take forever to accomodate clients. I have been here twice already, first was waiting for a banker for 30mins who didn’t show up and now I have been waiting for 15mins and still nothing. Really wasting my time

Great service! They are always very nice and very observant for their customers. It is a convenient spot as well so I make it my go-​to bank.
The place is clean, there’s no one loitering outside and asking for money.

It’s a bank.
They get 4 stars for having actual tellers to help. Typically more than one which is more than I can say for most banks now a days.
Additional customer service had been good although I don’t have much need for most of the things they offer.

The people here are so unhelpful and rude I’m almost tempted to switch banks. The customer service is so awful. I would avoid getting help here. I’ve been in twice and both times have been treated poorly by the same lady and have left unsatisfied. From now on if I have any questions I will drive to the one in San Ramon.

I went in twice to try to get a replacement ATM card, both times horrible experiences compared to other chase locations I’ve used. it was so confusing as to where to wait to get help, representatives saw me wandering around confused but did nothing to help. I found out what to do and where to wait no thanks to the workers. not only was I misinformed about what they could do for my ATM card, when I eventually did see someone, (the first time I went), I waited 30 minutes-​while super confused as to whether I’d even be helped, since myself and the other customers waiting, were not being helped or talked to by any employee (and there were plenty around just chatting to each other). my very young son had to use the restroom, and when I asked someone who worked there, they said no, we couldn’t use their bathrooms. My son is 3, so waiting 30min., and still waiting, then being told no, was too hard. so we had to LEAVE. The next day, it was the same, long wait– no one helping or greeting me, asking if I need help, etc. –granted I look like a housewife, so maybe that’s why I was being treated this way? I was very unhappy at this point. my son had to use the bathroom again (yeah, seriously)! but I kept telling him no, this place doesn’t let you. finally after waiting so long and maybe because he heard my son complain so much, a random employee came from a back desk and did not introduce himself, but angrily and begrudgingly opened the bathroom for us. he didn’t seem kind at all and said nothing to us, just made us feel unwelcome. we finally got to see someone about my card. I want to emphasize here, I’ve been with Chase for over 10 years, back when it was WAMU. opened several accounts with them and use them for business. I was so used to being treated so well at my other location, they always greeted me, gave candy to my son, let us use the bathroom, with excellent customer service. They were so personable and never made me feel lost, a burden, or unwelcome. COMPLETE OPPOSITE HERE. And after all this, I was given wrong info about what I could do about my card! But that doesn’t bother me as much as the appauling customer service. WORST CHASE customer service EVER!

Love this branch! Always friendly and helpful. I’ve dealt with Mishawndra Hughes and Kisa the CPC. Couldn’t ask for better service from any bank

It has been my business bank for several years now. First off, the staff is really friendly and I have felt cared for. They have had some management issues with business managers but I haven’t really needed assistance in that area for the most part. I have been able to make deposits on occasion without my banking card as they are truly about relationship building once they know you. The Chase app for depositing money also rocks as well as their business account interface. One of the reasons for stating this is it was a huge improvement from Citi Business where I had my account previously. Check ‘em out.

What’s the low reviews about?!
Management must have changed recently because I am honestly happy with Chase. I come to chase once a month to pay my car note and although I dread coming to this location its not bad.
I come on Saturdays (so that can make a big difference) but when I’m rarely not even waiting in line. Its less then 5 minutes and I walking back out with my receipt.
The chase is location right across the street from Safeway, with Chevron gas station on the right of the building and Lucky’s in the same plaza. There is also a very good breakfast restaurant and a Mexican restaurant in the same plaza.
Lots of parking! A+ for that!
I have been to Chase in the Redwood City area and I feel that location is so unprofessional and see a big difference when I came to this location.
Staff are very nice and also pleasant and helpful. I am actually thinking about banking with Chase since Bank of America is not really pleasing my needs but I want to wait till I pay my car off to do so.

Mishawndra is the most unprofessional, rude, unhelpful, obnoxious banker I have ever met. With so much competition for banking, I would think that customer service and relationships are stressed at this branch. not so much.
Not bringing my business here any longer. I would rather spend my time at the dmv than dealing with her.

This morning I headed off to Chase with feelings of dread– banking institutions rank right up there with the DMV so I always use the ATM. But today I had a problem with my deposit that needed to be solved ASAP! «Carlos» in customer service called the back office for me and confirmed the funds availability with another bank so my deposit could be posted. I appreciated the happy little lollipops in the waiting area too. I was happily surprised!

I needed to open a checking account and chose CHASE Bank. Why? For their signature blue lighting to be honest. Am I shallow? Am I stupid? Yep. I strolled in to a clean well organized layout and was greeted by two friendly-​faced tellers. I noticed they were imprisoned by a huge slab of plexiglass. Like what they caged Magneto with in The X-​men movie. It was something to marvel at really. Crystal clear and stretching from end to end on the countertop.
One teller asked if I needed help and I told her I needed to open a checking account. Then I asked her if she could bend metal with her mind. She didn’t get it but laughed anyway. nice. I helped my self to a complimentary sucker from a candy bowl as she flagged down another friendly lady. A Private Client Banker (whatever that means) that directed me to an office off to the side and we were seated. She typed in my information and I told her I was going to deposit $ 1000 and use the account to pay bills online. There was a problem, of course. My driver’s licence and Social Security Card didn’t qualify as 2 forms of ID. She didn’t want me to leave but we decided that I had to return home and get my vehicle registration paper. A DMV printout is way more credible than a silly SS card I found out.
Before I left I quipped, «You know, there’s probably 2 or 3 banks between here and my home.» and she said, «Yeah, but they’re all the same.» I asked her «What’s different about this bank?» She said there were coupons or incentives that they give for opening a new account. «Up to $ 100.» «Hmmm, OK I’ll be back.» I said. To make a long story longer, when I got back we chose the checking account that was right for me and guess what? There were no coupons, gift cards or incentives for me. My initial feeling was that I should go jump in that candy bowl with the other suckers but then I just laughed. It’s not that big of a deal, really and I’m not out anything, right? My customer experience is a little tainted because she knew I wasn’t going to be signing up for a premium account or what ever it was that qualified me for their gifts. Eh, maybe I shouldn’t complain because overall, I got what I came for… that and a $ 4.95 monthly fee. yeah, whatever.

WORST BANK EVER!!! Wow, these kids are not just dumb and bad at their jobs they actually went out of their way to NOT help me. At one point the «assistant manager”(don’t think she was, but said she was… I now know her as «the girl with the fake blond hair and underbite») said that «what I am asking to do is discretionary with each bank». I said, ««discretionary» means that it’s up to the persons discretion to do what needs to be done or not, and that means that the branch that I opened up my account with is deciding, with their «discretion», to NOT help me». She replied «yes, sorry». WOW really? This was just one of the 3 or 4 things that I couldn’t get done… oh sorry…3 or 4 things that they decided not to help me with. I want to say that I have great experiences with CHASE on the phone and at branches in S.F. and NYC so I don’t think CHASE is bad just this branch and these people.

Went todaay and tried to set up a college checking account, they said I couldn’t because I turned 18 TWO DAYS AGO. they said they couldn’t do anything for me b/​c i didn’t have a drivers license. I wasn’t that mad, but the guy that helped me was rude so i got really mad. & i’d like to mention that it was a hot summer day, and they didn’t want to turn on their AC. It was warmer in the bank than outside! Anyway, I already had a savings account there and my dad got mad too, so we closed all of our accounts with chase. The man asked why we were so upset, and told us that if we went to any other banks, they wouldn’t be able to open up an account for me. My parents and I went to Wells Fargo across the street, I am now equipped with a college savings account with Wells Fargo :)
Oh and the teller that gave us our money, was extremely rude! Like… EXTREMELY. She kept rolling her eyes at us!
I felt bad because the guy that helped me at our previous visit was really nice :(

THE WORST BANK EVER!!! We are leaving this bank. Someone skimmed our atm card from somewhere and were withdrawing $ 500 a day out of our account. Called in to report only to speak to someone we couldn’t understand… asked to speak to a supervisor to stop the card because the rep told us to call back on Monday.(ummmm NO!!) Supervisor tranfered us to the fraud department who transfered us to somewhere else to file a claim. Then we could only file a claim on the transactions that had gone through and had to wait to file a claim for the pending transactions. Love to know WHY they feel the need to treat us like it was our fault and make us wait to get OUR money back. So they stated that a new ATM card was to be sent… waited and waited took 6 days… inconvenient…only to find out they are limiting us to $ 200 a day in purchases and $ 100 a day in ATM withdrawals… WHAT!!! IT’S NOT YOUR MONEY!!! So we can’t fill up our gas tank and grocery shop or go out the same day? FINDING ANOTHER BANK!!!

Both the branch and the 800# for Chase took hours of my time just to order new checks. They have told me that there was an address change on the account when there hasn’t been a change in 10 years, then they say no, it was the phone number change — but wait, the bank told me that the phone numbers weren’t correct on the account. Our address AND phone numbers have not changed for both my residence and the residence of the VP of the over the past 10 years we have been managing the HOA. I don’t know what is going on with the management of this bank, but I’m not comfortable here anymore.
Sloppy record keeping, poor customer service and I’m the one doing all the work to ensure we have proper business account information on our checks, deposit slips & account. In this amount of time I’ve spend on this issue, I could have opened an account at another bank. Now that will be a wise investment of my time after this mockery of banking customer service.

The first time I was here was today — an incredibly long line inside with two tellers and only one ATM outside.
I’d rather travel to the one on Foothill Blvd in Hayward.
