Master Stylist Julie Jones

There’s no doubt that Julie is by far one of the best hair stylists I’ve ever gone to. She has an extraordinary eye for detail, and provides incredible insight on what hairstyle would suit my face shape best, or what color would compliment my skin tone. My hair follicles are extremely stubborn (I have naturally jet black hair), and coloring is normally a challenge. With Julie’s knowledge, patience, and friendly personality, it’s always a breeze!
I feel empowered and confident each time I leave the salon with my healthy and lovely locks. There’s no one else I would trust with my hair, other than Julie, because she truly knows what she’s doing.

I had Julie bookmarked in my Unilocal account for quite a while but hadn’t managed to plan accordingly. Judging by the difficulty in getting an appointment — the secret of Julie’s talents isn’t quite a secret. She’s warm, friendly and best of all — cuts hair well. I know lots of people say this — but it feels like I am hanging out with a new friend — and I just happen to walk out with my hair looking fabulous.
Just posting a couple tips
1. Cash only for first 3 appointments
2. Schedule in advance — she’s a busy lady. Which I take as a good sign.

I was looking for a new hair stylist and style. I did a search here on Unilocal and found Julie. All of they great things said about her are true. I had a couple of pictures to bring with me for my first appointment and after checking them out she said she knew what to do. And she did! I have not been so happy with a new cut in a long time. Thank you Julie and thanks to all of you that took the time to recommend her!

Best haircut ever. I haven’t had a good scissor cut since I lived in Paris! Julie is professional, easy to communicate with and has a great eye for detail.

I absolutely love Julie. My hair was in desperate need of some TLC. I also knew exactly what I wanted. Julie was very easy to work with. From scheduling my appointment to sharing pictures of the idea I had, Julie was very attentive. She not only listened to what I wanted, but also provided suggestions and explanations of every step. She gave me a color melt that far exceeded my expectations! My next appointment is already set. :)

Julie has been doing my hair and it has never looked better. She does such a great job and just knows what to do to make my hair look and feel spectacular! I just moved to the area and had my share of frustrations trying to find a new hair stylist. How incredibly lucky am I for stumbling across Julie Jones!!! My hair hasn’t looked this good for several years — I have a short stylish cut with highlights. Julie did a fantastic job and is extremely pleasant to work with. I win!

I found Julie in 2008 and haven’t gone to anyone ever since. I am blonde with fine hair which makes mistakes stand out even more than normal. I also don’t like buzz cuts and prefer only scissors to be used on my hair. This seemed to be a problem for all my past hairdressers but not Julie. She uses only scissors and everything blends flawlessly. And she is friendly and very personable to boot. I would recommend Julie without hesitation.

I am truly lucky because I found Julie, by chance, on a random booking at Stacy Monroe’s 4 years ago. I needed a late night appointment, so they gave me Julie.
I am so glad they did because Julie has been beautifying my hair ever since! Julie truly knows what she is doing and is a «perfectionist». Don’t be surprised if she goes back through your hair to make sure that every strand falls the way you want it to. Even when I think she’s done and couldn’t make it look any better, she out does herself!
From that very first visit, Julie has always made me feel so at ease and comfortable in that chair– like we’ve known each other for years (now we have)! She is so easy to talk to and always made my husband feel included when he tagged along. She’s basically family now!
I would highly recommend Julie to anyone looking to beautify their hair!

I have to say that Julie is incredible at what she does. Since she started cutting my hair it has never looked better. On top of that she is the only person who has ever taken the time to explain what is good for my hair and how to really care for it. She couldn’t come with a higher recommendation.

Julie is very precise and takes her time to make it just right. Her attention to detail, memory of what I like, and casual and energetic way of talking makes me look forward to my appointment with her each month. What can I say? Julie is amazing! She takes the time to listen to what you would like your hair to look like, to hear what you have to say and she truly listens to your wants! Julie is not only an awesome stylist she is one heck of a therapist! HA! Hair-​a-​pist and totally professional! I don’t know who else can actually handle all this in one person.
Seriously, I do not recommend many people for hair but I will say that you won’t want to miss out on having Julie create some amazing locks for you. Julie has not only fixed some errors done by other stylists, she has maintained my highlights, lowlights, cuts, curls, toner, just a friendly wash, she is even great with a scalp massage. You are getting an all in one here.
I have been stopped my strangers to check out my locks, asked by friends for Julie’s number. I get major compliments because of the awesome job she does.
I hope that you give Julie a chance so she can show you now beautiful your hair can look. Julie also cuts my husband hair,
2 teenage boys and my 9 year old daughter. The trust is there and always will be.

Julie is by far the most patient artistic stylist I’ve been to in my many many years of searching for someone who knows what they are doing. I’ve only had one appointment with her thus far, but was amazed on how much time she took with me. She listened to what I wanted, talked to me at great length, looked at pictures of me in the past and then made magic. She gave me a percision haircut, which I really needed and made me beautiful! Color, cut and highlights and I was a Princess by the time I left. Julie is FANTASTIC!!! I will go back!

Can I give her 6 stars? If it were possible I would. Julie is a true professional, the quality of her work is paid back to you by all the compliments you get from friends and strangers about how great your hair looks. I have followed her from one salon to a new one… and let me tell you I’d follow her just about anywhere. She treats your hair like it were her own, treats you like you are a friend not a client in her chair. She will not disappoint I promise you that. I am so happy to have found her. She also cuts my husbands hair, and my sisters… soon other family and friends to follow. If you are shopping for a new stylist why not select a master stylist in Julie. Trust me you will nt be sad you made that choice~!!

Julie Jones has given me the two best haircuts of my life! (If I loved closer, that would be a much higher number). She first did my hair three years ago when she gave me a super-​cute pixie cut. Then last November, when my hair was past my shoulders, she styled it again. Both times, I felt so beautiful when I left the salon. Partly because of the haircut but mostly because I felt taken-​care-​of. Julie’s the best!

Everyone knows finding a hairstylist is an agonizing process. Julie will put all your fears /​anxiety to rest! During the initial consult she walked me through what she wanted to do to my hair, we talked about everything from maintenance, to color, to length and then some. Before scheduling an appointment she gave me a quote for the price and the amount of time needed. When I came back for the first appointment she exceeded all expectations! My hair looked GREAT but felt even healthier than when I came in! My 3^rd appointment is already scheduled on the books but I am really impressed with Julie’s flexibility with her schedule. Not only did I write a review for her on Unilocal — but I have also referred many of my friends to her. She is a GEM!
